They should have just stuck with the rotary dial phones. The world was much safer.

I have never seen one of those type of phones ever. Even growing up in the 90's. 😂

There is one on the shelf at B2. She should plug it in. But then she would have to watch a YouTube video to learn how to use it 🤣

If the world would have stuck to land lines then the government wouldnt be able to listen in to ALL are phone calls without getting warrants first. And YES, they do so. That's why they and the phone companies pushed us all into going ALL DIGITAL and disguising it with all these SMART useless features

Back in the 1960s and 1970s, those were the phones people used, but by around 1980, the dial phones were replaced with push-button models.

They actually are worth a bit of money in the aspect of being antiques. However, the gold that is in those old Western Electric phones is worth worth more then the phone itself. Because of the amount of gold in each phone is why the phone was owned by Ma Bell and only rented to the customer

Because they were owned by the phone company they were actually nearly bullet proof. Built to last forever. Residential phones were not affected by power outages either. ☎️
