Although you are the Admin of the board, StnCld316.  I sympathise with your approach to these matters;  that it's often difficult to please all members,  all of the time.  But in this instance,  I have to say, that banning is the correct method of dealing with the issue. And, backing up that ban, by stating that future instances will result in a like-wise permanent ban. 

In my opinion, there departure from the forum,  will in no way hurt any other member; in fact it would be welcome, and the forums would stay open.🤨
