I do whenever there are posts in languages I don't (or barely) understand, like Italian & Spanish mostly.

But whether I do or not, it (sometimes, sometimes not) insists on autocorrecting what I post, or, when someone quotes me, (half) translates (often badly) in a really illogical and scrambled way.

Edit: oh wait, usually right click on the page & choose "translate to English". I'll check if it's different when trying from right of the URL, like was mentioned above.

update: I chose "never translate this site" right of the url.

But that won't fix autocorrect, I think. I suspect autocorrecting is independent of the translating issue.

And I will need to activate translating again when I want to understand a Spanish or Italian post correctly.

We'll see how it goes.

Yes regarding autocorrecting, IDK...

I usually don't translate what is not in English (or french)... or if I want to then I copy and paste in a Google Traduction tab 😉
