But when it comes to the reason behind it, that is where my issue lies. I don't agree with all the "green" people that lay all the blame on us. Sorry @northguy I think you are a great person, it is just that I have (some) different beliefs. My theory is that it is just a normal evolutionary thing, where the universe goes through different cycles over millennia, over which humans have no control. My favourite question to the global warming fraternity is: I guess us humans were then also to blame for the ice age?? PS. I have to point out that this is the only subject where I agree with Trump 😁 Thank God it is sleepy time. I will face all the hate tomorrow 🤣🤣 1

It's true there are changes over the millennia (like the Ice Age, and even a mini-ice age in the 16th & 17th centuries), but these changes didn't take place in just a few decades, like now. Even if the current climate patterns are/were caused "naturally", they are further exacerbated & sped up by human activity (fossil fuels etc.). The main issue is finding out what percentage of those changes is "natural", and what percentage "man made". The latter seems more & more significant according to most recent research, but it will be hard to pinpoint the difference exactly. There is a lot of decent scientific research around it, though, to conclude human activity at least plays a part.
