So, although the translations are close to what is actually being said/meant, any slight flaw in interpretation can dramatically change the entire meaning and tone of the exchange.

Just think about when you were listening to conversations in your native language and had to strain to make out what was being said. I bet you will realize that you are completing that part of the conversation with the help of what you know (or think you do) about the people who are doing the talking. You simply can't take as absolute truth anything that is translated - no matter how good the translator is - regardless of whether that's a person or a translation program.

Book, more even than you say, and what you say is true, there is another problem here.

What if the girls are saying what we want to hear, knowing we hear it and will translate it? I implicitly trust Kitek and Yury. But how do we know the girls are not giving us a narrative to have us salivating a bit? I'm not saying everything is a fib, just some key parts maybe.
