  1. Sad to see them go. They seem to be the best adjusted couple on here. Max always [almost always] treated her well and there is genuine affection between them. You didn't have to ask WHY IS SHE WITH HIM? like you do with Leora and the Antenna or Nora and the Stop Sign or Alina and the 12 year old or Alma and Goon Boy. I wish them luck and happiness with the new child. Nice people.
  2. She's either packing or doing spring cleaning. Just saw her fold up and put away the dog's leash. What does that mean? And where is he? That dog is one of the most interesting characters on this entire site. Squirrel calls him Qualude, which is very appropriate. Good dog anyway. Hope he's OK. More concerned about that dog than many of the people. Alma's partner, Goon Boy, for example.

    Newbie questions

Just out of curiosity Squirrel, how do you know that 4 apartments are in Siberia? How did you come upon this information? Just wondering. Siberia? Yikes!
  4. And to cap off this "worst week", Alma has left and Goon Boy is in charge of their apartment. He apparently has found a way to turn off lights so that going there is like looking down a mineshaft. On the other hand seeing him or anything else there when she is not at home is also... Have a nice new week.
  5. This is all true because it just occurred to me that the most interesting individuals here this week have been the 4-legged ones. Maybe it is time to clean house after all.
  6. The little dog seems to chew everything in sight. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll go to work on Paul's guitar.
  7. Thanks very much. Inyeresting point of view from his perspective. Of course, he's no winner either. He seems to be living just above an animal level. I wonder would happen if Alma found someone caring, sensitive and just a tad sophisticated. She has an interest in art, a sense of humor, a realistic sex drive and a notion of sharing rather than everything in life being about her. This will continue to be interesting to watch, but, I fear, for not much longer. And thanks again for taking the time to translate.
  8. Would it be possible for someone out there who is bilingual to translate from Spanish to English for those of us who are one-language impaired? I'd love to know what is going on. Thanks in advance.
  9. I'm fairly new here and don't have much time to devote to the site. I also see much commentary which either is just idiotic or very angry. The best thing to do with these cretins is just delete and move on. HOWEVER, the single funniest thing I've read so far is Squirrel's name for Maya's dog: Qualude. Hilarious. I laugh about it every time I see the dog. He just about makes it through the day from one nap to another. Very funny Squirrel!
  10. I can understand political correctness and freedom of speech and am willing to defend both as political theories. However, I am personally more interested in common courtesy, decency and the feelings of others. I believe it's the latter that's in danger. Sad.
  11. Thank you all for responding from interesting points of view. I agree about the sex. As George Burns once said. "Once you've seen two, you've seen them all." We have many cases, it seems to me, of women cohabitating with boys. And yet, even the boys do not seem that interested. The Paul and Leora thing is absolutely amazing to watch. He paws and pinches and even slaps her for a bit, she starts to get aroused and he bolts over to his work station. He's definitely playing with the wrong antenna. And how about the lumbering goon with Alma? What could she possibly be thinking? I had a German Shepherd who ate more politely than this ape. Sex is all about him. I agree completely with the ideas expressed here about being able to interview them or to follow up and see where they have gone in life after this site. But I watch anyway. I stumbled on this by accident and it's fascinating watching the daily train wreck. I don't have that much time for it, however, so I'm glad you guys are on guard duty.
  12. In my limited experience here, I must say that I don't "get" any of these people with the possible exception of Lora and Max. He seems very gentle and kind to her. She smiles with him. They seem aware of the baby coming and are happy about it, etc. They lead a very limited life, but they're not exactly living in Paris, I would guess. The others I just don't "get". This Paul seems to be a love maker on the level of a robot. Angela and Marcelo are headed to homicide headlines. Why is Alma putting up with the doofus? And Maya and bi-boy at the computer are just a mystery. And I don't "get" the Aline and Anton thing at all. She seems caught up in their soon-to-be marriage and he wants to play video games like he is 13 years old. Am I not alone in this, or is my "get it" function just not working?
  13. Gee, I'm sorry I missed the action with the socks. Is it true that Alina is going to marry this bozo? I'm new here and not up to speed yet.
  14. You're right. I thought I was seeing things, but he seems to eat right out of the serving bowls, with the fork he just had in his mouth. Think they're afraid to correct him or is this local custom?
