Strange isn't it....life that is....When Paul first started his " early retirement " from employment, I had hopes that after seeing the specialist equipment ( microscope and cycle trailer ) that he would honestly try and make a success out of self employment in the electrical/ electronic field in which he is familiar. Sadly the moment seems to have passed and he has sunk into the rut only too familiar two years ago, of very late nights, sleeping in till the afternoon and doing his best impression of a sloth. To a certain extent I blame The Little One, she does nothing to discourage him, and she encourages him by petting, stroking and generally mothering him when he pulls his wretched carcass out of bed at 1545 today. Short term is manageable, but the big picture is thus.....She is not getting any younger, and although she still looks very good, the late nights, terrible diet, lack of regular exercise and mother nature will take its toll on her magnificent body eventually, and like an old boxer she will probably be the last person to admit it....So what happens then when the meal ticket becomes unemployed....No apartment ( unless they have already got a second one of their own ) no income coming in and the wrong side of thirty years old. I feel very sad for her, these are the times when they should have been capitalizing on her popularity and his electrical skills, instead they have gone full circle...back where they started. 😭
