I wonder why they throw him (them) out so consistently, then. Especially during the stormy weather lately... Do the current tenants all hate cats (even more than rats), or maybe someone of the current cast has a cat allergy?... Or has Zucchini started to pee inside more often (perhaps because he's getting old)? I remember he was sometimes thrown out in the past, but also allowed inside for a longer time sometimes... Karma nearly adopted him but wasn't allowed. Maybe she should have taken him anyway...
-
I wonder, because perhaps the present rat problem could be linked to the lack of cat activity (for whatever reason) lately?...

I haven't been on CC (and less on RLC) for a while, and I don't feel like reading back several days or even weeks, so I'll just ask here: With all this rat infestation problem, I haven't seen Squash/Zucchini aka the cat around for a while (but might have missed him as I was less often online). Did something happen to him? Did he just disappear? Was he taken to the veterinarian, never to return (he looked old/in bad shape after all...)? Did he meet the wrong rat (or cat/dog)?... Or is he still around, but too old & slow to chase the rats now?... Does anyone know?... Or failing that: any informed or wild guesses?

They would fall out with Ada too, or even more so... If there even was any contact in the first place... -

I thought it was a guest I hadn't seen yet (granted, I didn't watch long and her face was not very visible). I came here to see what was being told about the guest, only to read it was Kaya... -

Nooo! She really didn't look like the type of girl to do that, imo.😢 I always say I hope the girls don't read CC, and I would advise them against it. But if you really have to read CC, girls, please take this bit of advice: Do not, I repeat, DO NOT have your lips inflated! A permanent duck face doesn't make you look more pretty! On the contrary, it makes you look stupid! It's probably the main reason I follow Elli a lot less now. Hopefully, it's not permanent and the lips will be back to normal soon... -

Because whoever spends more than a certain (not precisely set) amount of time with Jen consecutively, gets into an argument with her & then they fall out? Perhaps this happens sooner to girls than to guys, but he decided not to take any chances?... 😉 -

This is not a porn site, and you're not entitled to anything... 😏 (kidding... & I missed the whole thing anyway - no replay) -

With this, I agree completely. His behaviour, combined with amateurish lies about himself, is mind boggling. -

Actually, the regime in Venezuela is still intact except for Maduro & his wife. The vice president who is in power now (Delcy Rodriguez) is from the same party & ruling clique. It's still a dictatorship. The regime (sans Maduro) has to suck up more to the Americans now, especially concerning oil, but the situation of the people hasn't changed (yet): they don't even dare to celebrate Maduro's capture & removal publicly for fear of reprisals by the authorities. The USA has no troops on the ground there, though it does have naval presence near the coast. And the actual winners of the 2024 elections have been sidelined by Trump, instead of being invited to take Maduro's place. Probably because he can put less pressure on them than on the remainder of Maduro's clique, on whom he now has a stranglehold; and who knows, perhaps also because Maria Machado (opposition leader) got the Nobel Peace Prize instead of Trump and he's jealous, lol. In short, if Jen would return home, she would still return to a dictatorship. There was no reinstatement of democracy. The regime now has to do the American's bidding as far as oil is concerned, but it still controls the population just like before (granted, not always super efficiently, but that was already the case under Maduro, too). -

I don't think he has contacts sending him stuff. I think he simply has a subscription (perhaps just a standard one without replay, like me, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had Premium), and if he doesn't (which I very much doubt), he probably watches the free cams at least. -

Exactly …September 1944. And the harsh "Hunger Winter" of 1944/1945 that followed that defeat at Arnhem / Market Garden, mainly. France, Belgium & southern Netherlands (South of the Rhine & other big rivers) were already liberated by then, so they escaped the worst of the cold & famine (made worse because of occupation, rationing,...) of that winter. But most of the Netherlands is north of those rivers and they were kept occupied by the Germans until spring 1945 because of that defeat, and it turned out to be the worst winter of the war for them... But most of the Dutch-German rivalry of the generation born after the war has to do with football (soccer, for Americans). I think it started with the World Cup of 1974, or perhaps some matches in the 1960s already. A saying of those days was: "Football (soccer) is a game with 11 players on each side, and at the end of the game, the Germans win.". And that saying is still sometimes used today (at least, when the Germans win). That being said, the "animosity" shouldn't be overestimated too much: Dutch & Germans have no difficulties visiting each other's countries. For most people, it's mostly "friendly rivalry" now, comparable to USA (pre-Trump) vs Canada, Swedes vs Danes, Belgians vs Dutch, Portuguese vs Spanish, Northern Italy vs Southern Italy, or even between some cities within the same country (we all know those of our own countries)... In short: they're not effectively at each other's throats (anymore) since a long time. -

I am Dutch speaking (as you probably know), but I missed the whole thing & I still have a standard sub without replay... So sorry I can't translate... -
I supppose you meant "we can't insult"?... Or at least we "shouldn't"?... (judging from your other posts, at least) 😉

Ada had a lot more to do with tearing apart Lunette's & Gelia's friendship than Kaya. Ada wants Lunette entirely to herself imo, and what Kaya did just presented an ideal opportunity for Ada to achieve that by turning the whole thing into a major drama. What was an ordinary fight, turned into the end of a friendship (for now at least). Gelia seemed to have been Lunette's last remaining friend, so Ada has Lunette completely to herself now, reducing the chance she'll ever leave her, as Lunette is totally out of Ada's league, and Ada knows it. That's why she's trying to isolate Lunette (and was already doing that before this whole thing; Gelia was Lunette's last remaining friend at that point). I think there's a good chance for Lunette & Gelia to become friends again, but only if/when Lunette is not together with Ada anymore. -
Yes. But if you already had a standard membership, it continues (at least for the time being). But the moment you cancel your subscription, you won't be able to get a standard membership anymore after that.

I was just thinking that Perhaps Jen sold her into slavery to be abducted to a porta-potty party in Dubai or something... -
That's what I was afraid of... Thanks anyway!

Does anyone here know the showering routines / times of the guest girl? I read she isn't cam-shy in the shower, but I just never caught her showering yet. I'm now starting to fear she'll leave before I get the chance to "happen upon her" in the bathroom (and I have no replay). So, any indications of her showering times would be most welcome! Thanks in advance! 🙂

Epikouros replied to Noldus's topic in B#5 Lunette & Ada (06/11/19)
Gelia & Kaya (& most other tenants) are from the same war torn country as Lunette is. Perhaps Lunette's home town is occupied by the Russians and not the home towns of the other tenants?... No idea... In any case, this thing is not worth upsetting her friendship with Gelia for (though Ada may very much want her to, and is now succeeding at driving a wedge between both). I never knew Ada has been suicidal, but if that's indeed the case, her place really is not on RLC... At least not in a shared apartment. If Lunette ever wants to escape her control, Ada might emotionally blackmail her by threatening suicide... Not a good spot to be in... -

That's because Ada went totally apeshit mental at Gelia, and Gelia didn't just take it. Mind you, Ada knew perfectly well what she was doing imo: isolating Lunette from Gelia. And she succeeded (at least for now). -

If Lunette blames Gelia, it only proves how much she's under Ada's manipulative spell... -

Perhaps, but if not for Ada's amped up drama, no bridges would have been burned, I think.
