I must return to my earlier criticism of the RLC script writers. If you object to the term, then let's say I mean whomever decides what to do next. Under previous RLC owners, it was clear that their focus was short term scenarios rather than long term. Later owners saw the potential to serialize the storylines of apartments in a way that could attract viewers in the same way that the most profitable television shows are now being played out in seasons and episodes. We can follow Masha's evolution and transitions through many stages of her life. Love it or hate it, people want to know what is next and they are not being disappointed. RLC does not seem to have a long game as evidenced by their selection of talent. Those who bring no story line with them are soon gone if they don't develop one during their tenure. Some subscribers, who view RLC as just another porn site, want to see them rotated every month. But, for the voyeurs, who want to see beyond the shows into "the private lives of other people, live 24/7 since 2011", the script writers have been incompetent. I have stopped making storyline suggestions since some of them that have been suggested have become implemented. I'm thinking of becoming a professional and selling script scenario ideas to a competitive enterprise. It's not that my ideas are that good, it's that the one's I am seeing on RLC are that bad.

I agree with most of your post here. The only time I saw what I will call the "real Malia" was the night that Leora left her alone with The Jerk. You will recall that she was assertive, talkative, opinionated, and able to defend herself against the attempts to compromise her. Her best moment was when she "spilled" her drink all over The Jerk to divert him from man handling her. In the years I have been observing, certainly no one here has insisted on anything...except that the relationship stop being fake. After all, the name of the project is "Real Life" . Lack of empathy has been the observable deficiency in Leora's character since the beginning. It was not until comments on this forum persisted that Leora started to reciprocate towards Malia in the showtime script. I don't think that Leora has the guts to stay around and have a conversation on camera with Malia. She will be out of there most of the time until Malia departs I predict.

Those who keep an archive will recall that I called for Malia to make a move towards self asssertion many months ago.
