    The only one I think can drain the swamp is Sanders. But he is too old for the job. And no he is not a communist. He is as far "left" as the president of France or the Chancellor of Germany 😉

    You can't drain a swamp when you are part of it yourself... But to be honest I think Hillary would have not been a good choice too... She is into the swamp the same way...

    It is rather more than an oligarchy I would say. Because only people with a lot of money can become president and influence the two parties to do what they want...

    What really baffles me is the hatred the two parties in the USA have for each other. Also their supporters seem to be not interested into any normal discussion with each other. Things like that would be never possible here. The parties should serve the people and help them to represent the different opinions in parliament. Have the feeling they are only busy with themselves and do what people who pay them the most money want from them. And I wonder why there are only two big parties in the US? Why is there on liberal or green party or left wing party to vote for? When I had the right to vote in the US I would not feel at home with both of the two parties point of view. Don't you think more political diversity would be nice? Sorry for off topic. Just something really strange to me I noticed.
