That camera in Leora's apartment is so shitty, always flickering in and out of focus, and not giving smooth movements when she and Paul so much as scratch their heads. The one in Maya's and Stephan's living room on the other hand is crystal clear and sharp.

Your point is well taken, however I do know that it isn't 'just' for the free rent alone that these couples are willing to do this. As you well know a lot of girls get a thrill out of being discovered, out in the open, or having someone see them.
