Hmmmm interesting! Most of the abuse that is thrown at the guys the girls of Barcelona bring home is because they deserved it. In Leora's case with Paul, I'm in no position to make such judgement. I think i've only seen the guy a handful of times.

I was going to respond to your post but I did something that I normally don't do and that is read past the post I am responding too. Dave said almost word for word what I was going to say but reflection is a big part of life and I reflect all the time on acquaintances I've had throughout my life and as Dave used the pen pal thingy, I also agree on that being the same as to meeting some individuals on an internet forum that I will never sit down with and have a cup of coffee with. During my youth (15 at the time) I met a girl that was two years older than myself on a vacation for my dad's work down in South Padre. We were sitting out by the pool at 11:15 at night when our conversation was interrupted by her dad telling her to get her but in bed. After that little incident she and I never really got to speak much at all. One day I was swimming at the hotel pool with my mom in the hotel room and my dad at a seminar for his work. She came to the gate at the pool and asked if she could see me in her room, to which I replied....what about your dad? She said her dad was in the same seminar with my dad and her mom was shopping with her sister. So I immediately got out of the pool and went with her to her room where we had a great time for about an hour. My point in saying this is that I spent a total of about 2.5 hours (out of 7 days) with this girl from Austin Tx on a work vacation for my dad. We exchange addresses and telephone numbers and stayed in touch by writing letters to each other for almost 9 years until she just vanished off the radar. To this day I wonder what happened to her. She could have been my soulmate had I pursued moving to the Austin area. Anyway, enough ranting....have a good day!!

Thanks for sharing a small but intimate part of your life with this forum!!! I myself, am in kinda the same boat. I have a bad heart which prevents me from being on my feet to long. Whenever I go somewhere I always have to carry a portable chair along with me to enable me to sit down. I can't stay in the heat but for a few minutes a day as it takes it's toll on me big time! On the 4th of July I went to my daughters house with my son to see her, her husband and my grandkids, where BBQ was being prepared and the fireworks were taken care of. While everyone was in the backyard enjoying the pool, I was in my chair in the dining room communicating with them threw and open window. You talk about a Debbie downer moment...that was surely it!! Luckily for me I have a very loving and caring family and they understand my predicament. I grew up in the great outdoors and have been an avid outdoorsman for my entire life and when I go hunting and fishing now I have to sit down to do it. Bowhunting was my passion but I gave that up several years ago when I noticed I just couldn't stand for any length of time (should have been my first clue). I live alone after the passing of my wife and things can become quite difficult for me as well so I fully understand where you are coming from!! Thanks for sharing your side of your story!!!

I don't watch any of the apartments anymore and I would never have watched M&A if Alberto was around so I can only speculate and from what i've read on this forum, I think Martina does whatever she want's to when Alberto is not around and he will never say a word about it as long as he is getting his....just my .02!

You say harsh, I say fair. A person could clean tables in a restaurant or pick up enough aluminum cans in a few months to support a yearly subscription to RLC if they really felt the desire too.
