    If that’s the case why do they call then assault rifles and not protection rifles from our view it’s just an excuse to have guns I’d rather you just said you loved guns and don’t want them taken away and as Americans you must be paranoid to think everyone wants to break into your house and murder you. And one last thought how did all these guns protect those poor children ?

    I agree the present incumbent does not seem fit for purpose but then neither was the the previous one. I think you need someone who is not in the pocket of the gun lobby before something is done about these horrendous killings.

    That’s a damming indictment of your elected government. We don’t have guns in UK and that includes our members of parliament. Some police over here are trained to use firearm’s in emergencies and we don’t get mass gun killings so something must be wrong with your system I guess it’s like most things over there it’s about dollars
