There are reasons that the Rules of the Apartment forums require treating both CC members and tenants with a modicum of respect and decency. Disagreement is fine, as long as it's done logically and in a respectful, civilized manner. The reason why we have adopted the Apartment Rules is because mature people get annoyed by trolls who barge into a topic just to create a food-fight, and we Mods don't like cleaning up the mess. If people enjoy that sort of thing, we have both Rants & Flame Wars and the Worldwide Politics forums where moderation is virtually non-existent.

I expect you'll be back here after you do your proper penance and seek absolution from the Goddess for your sins. Meaning, I suspect you'll be back here in about 10 minutes!

When ever I see Euromike's super-duper urban wall-paper wraps, I always think of Bladerunner. All she needs now is to throw us a kiss.

We have a report coming in about an odd failure of RLC to work, and it reports a Flowplayer error, and this problem is not solved by changing browsers, resets, etc. This may be affecting other members who have not yet spoken up. If you are getting Flowplayer errors, please post your computer/browser/etc. specs. If you are familiar with Flowplayer, please help out with your superior knowledge in this thread. Thank you!

Look, I've already said a bunch of stuff about that yipper that gets in our way. Pepe and I have tried a million times to out-think Scooter, and have failed. But she and even Paul loves Scooter, and for Scooter, they are her life. Very loyal dog there. I almost get sad along with Scooter when Leora and Paul are away from the apartment. Brings tears to my eyes. We know Leora doesn't much like sleeping in dark rooms, because of security considerations. That, per chance, is why she adopted such an attentive and vicious guard dog like Scooter. To keep the vermin away. Pepe and I hope that when Spring arrives, she'll go hiking in the forest again so we can gush all over her with our love and devotion. Until then, that damn dog is in the way and that all there is to it.

I would appreciate it if you guys would be so kind as to quit using birds and cats and chipmunks for your avatars. Leora is a sucker for these cute animals. Pepe and I don't need any more competition.

Once in a while such things happen. Just keep alert, and post it for others if you can. We don't discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation here.

I enjoy the lovable little Blue Bird and Mr. Happyone, so don't anybody get paranoid. My statement was not made to chastise anyone.

I'd rather the tenants not take their cues from us. It's not very real that way. I don't want to squash constructive criticism of the tenants actions when they are obviously acting nefariously, because everyone here knows TBG & I have been strong supporters of free speech in the past, and so are the other Mods. It's just that we don't want trolls bashing the tenants in the Apartment threads anymore. Nobody likes to read it, and we Mods have better things to do than to attend to food fights. Hell, I'm not even bashing Scooter anymore, because both Leora & Paul love her. Even though Scooter no longer has a fluffy tail. As for Kitty, give the woman a break. I would have enjoyed a date with her when I was a young man. So should any heterosexual male. As for Smith, he's just young and we old guys were there once. I withhold judgement on others unless they start food-fights in the apartment threads. As for Jasmin, I simply don't know her well enough. I'm sure she's worthy of love and pretty in the eyes of those who follow her on RLC. (Great --- now the fricken' Squirrel is steering this topic off into a worship service for Kitty and Jasmin. It will turn into a goddamn gushy worship service and read like the Leora & Elisa threads. But what can you expect from a rodent?) Just be kind to people who you think might be a tenant or maybe a troll imposter. If they are actually trolls, they'll hate you for it and move on. Trolls get bored when you don't make a fuss, but tenants occasionally leak interesting insights.

I'm pretty sure they are, but I know some of the short-timer girls were also. Nora knows people from all over, though I don't she's involved in the casting anymore.

Nick and Happy know when to head for Rants & Flame Wars when necessary. No problems there. I don't even care when Pepe insults me, claiming that his fluffy tail is fluffier than mine. I'm not with RLC, but some of these tenants come from really crappy backgrounds and are doing whatever they can to build a better life, and they are sharing it with us. I just am getting tired of them getting horribly offended by our more mean members in the apartment threads. These threads are for lively and fun discussion. We've had some real assholes show up in these threads -- evil trolls which you do not see -- at least when we get to the Mod reports quickly enough to ban the jackasses. I'm sure Jasmin is a nice girl. I'm sorry for CC when our members hurt the tenants' feelings.

Regarding dislike of any of the tenants, I must stand in agreement with you happyone and vlkvlk. If you can't say it to their face, then you are a coward. And believe me, the tenants are here. They sneak in to every little corner of CC, and we can't stop them. Hell, these tenants are like squirrels. And they follow the rules, unlike some of the trolls here. And some of them have very nice tails.

"Girl talk" was interesting to me when I was a younger, less wiser squirrel. I delegate analysis of "Girl talk" to experts if it appears it might have value in an espionage or HumInt setting. Thanks for the read-through and translation however. Maybe I'll disect it if I get really bored. Tomorrow, they will be talking about other things, all determined by their hormones and their moods, and I won't understand that either. I'm sure they are both fine girls and though they must survive many trials and tribulations, I hope they do well in life and marry their Prince Charming.

You and longarm are generally correct, but some of these girls that parade through Barc1 and Barc2 have been from Russia. Either way, both Ukraine and Russia have promoted their girls to be models, and both no doubt receive income taxes back to their native capitals (Putin rubs his hands in glee -- foreign currency is important). I suppose many of these girls have dreams that cannot be fulfilled in little backwater towns. I think Yury or a few of our other members could discern the accents and say which girls are from with areas of the former Soviet Union. But I cannot. Certainly the Queen got along quite well with Russians; suffice to say that I think there's a mix here of girls who met through business contacts in the trade. I simply know that a few came from remote towns in Russia and wanted to get out and see the world, and modeling was their ticket. I don't begrudge them Barcelona, that is for sure!

I agree with happyone. This is a younger couple, and younger couples need to work through and settle their power struggles. Even when they get married, there will be power-games that they must play. It is part of the process; fights ensue. I saw this with Alma and Stefan (we all did, that one didn't quite work out), but I've seen it everywhere else. I think both Kitty and Smith are actually pretty real and genuine. We do have a tendency at CC to always be jealous of the male and more tolerant of the female, since there are less females and gays on this board. But looking at them as individuals experiencing life as a process, certainly we can understand what they are going through. As you know, I am older and therefore very unbiased about all such issues. (Insert snarky emoji here. She's attractive as all hell. )

I don't see it, but I'm behind a lot of blockers and filters. I think it's just the usual shitty advertising trick that people put on their web-sites without checking 'em out first. Let me know immediately folks if any of you have a another problem with it. As usual, proceed with caution. It's an ugly world out there in Internet Land.

I think the curse on this apartment has been banished. Elisa is a very high class and beautiful woman, and I prefer to see happy couples living together on RLC. (My fear is that the curse has been relocated to Kitty and her boy's apartment. Kitty's pretty damn hot, too.) In CamCaps history, the official titles have always been: Queen-Nora; Goddess-Leora. How about we christen Elisa "The Golden Princess?" Maybe we should run this through a poll and make it into a naming contest. What do you Elisa fans think we ought to do?

I had no problem with the tattoo once I saw it on her. Everything looks good on that woman. In fact, I wouldn't mind if she did this cute little tattoo also. I think the squirrel and the tattoo are very tastefully done. (We could hold Pepe's memorial service the next day.)
