Yes, I see your point. I used to think like that before too. But I have realised that we actually have a lot more genuine moments if they come with friendships already formed. We get more time for other interesting "storylines" to develope. Less chance of total failure. It is generally less artificial, and it feels alot less forced that way.

Casting a random guy, just like they cast the girls, I think it would be a catastrophy. It would never work. Especially with RLC's incompetence at finding new tenants. But imagine if RLC casted one "key tenant" for each apartment. One for B1, one for B2, and maybe one or two in B4. Then imagine if RLC gave these "key tenant" full freedom to fill the rest of the spots in their apartment with their own friends and aquaintances. Male or female. This has turned out to work great in the past. Take "Kristy's angels" in R1 as an example. Or Olivia in B2 last year.

I think Masha is being abit unfair here, and too hard on Babi. Yes, it was a tragic incident with the painting and the easel. That blame is 100% on the crazy drunk girl who started the fight. If you leave your apartement to someone else for over a month, some things are almost doomed to be neglected. Like dead plants, you can't blame anyone for that. You just can't be in control of everything if you rent out your apartement to someone for that long. All in all, I think Babi brought alot of viewers to Mashas apartment during her absence. Guests, parties and exciting life. It was a huge success! You could say in contrast to Masha's vacation in Barcelona, wich was a ratther big disappointment. Masha should thank Babi!

I have an impression that alot of you might disagree with me on this, but in my opinion all the bedrooms downstairs (except the spare bed in N&B's room) has better cam angles than the top floor master bedroom. Vivian's bedroom is probably the best one. Not by much, but alittle bit. All of this is of course trumped by the excellent views in the top floor bathtub, compared to the often moist and foggy shower downstairs.

I adore them. For me, they are currently the ones that have brought the most to the project. Definitely the best new first timer GOV-tenants since Mimi and Fiora last year. We'll see if they will even manage to overgo them. The summer has just started.
