You wonder how the fires could get any worse here in Australia. But sadly it is. If the below doesn't make you very sad I will be surprised. WWW.NEWS.COM.AU Experts are worried that fires burning out of control in two states could come together later this week to form a mega fire with its own weather system.

They are beautiful and so loving when you cuddle them.

We are crying over it. My brother ran though the fires to save a kangaroo trapped against a fence and the fire and brought him back running though it. A very brave man, but this how we Aussies are. Please pray for us and our animals we need all the help you can give.

Beauty vs Brains, well the thing about Leora she has both. Many years ago I noticed it didn't matter what she did she did it to a high standard. Leora very good with her hands and has a good eye for painting. Leora used to read a lot more, specially in the first apartment, In the second apartment Leora did more crafty / art stuff. Leora loves music and concerts, I wonder if musically she could how a go at. May be writing? In her third apartment I'm looking forward to what she does next.

Thank-you scutus, it's terrible basically half of Victoria is burnt or about to be. We Australian diggers are made of tough stuff, my home is safe at the moment but the beast of a fire could change that at any time. I was thinking the same thing, I wonder if we could have a locked thread for us oldies where we can chat normally and it be by invite only. It would be great to back to how it once was giving Leora respect. Gee remember when Leora would chat and answer our questions?

I'm thinking about becoming more of a Lurker as the attacks when trying to pass on knowledge and things the newbies might like to know just gets you attacked. It's not hard to work out, today is an example. I'm going away to think about if I want to continue or give up and like my many friends have done. Maybe it's time to leave it to the new guys to continue the thread. But in the end they too will reach this point where I'm at.
