I have no real backup for my system files (root partition). The snapshot of Btrfs is keeped on the same ssd as the updated files (Btrfs is a copy on write filesystem). I am not good at backups and only copy the really important data. Practically, I only make backup copies of my home directory that would still fit on a 32GB usb-stick. I have a separate spin drive with data whose loss would be a pity, but not dramatic (e.g. some RLC recordings from better times). For this drive i have no copies at all. Maybe I should make a copy here, but that kind of data are not that important to me.

It's strange that now also with Harris the question appears from Trump whether she is really American. Trump is a racist.

I have the opposite idea and keep software always up to date. Before every update, I make a snapshot of the system (takes only a second with Btrfs on Linux) so i can go back to a working system, if something is broken (extremely rare situation). I was really annoyed at the audacity of Microsoft forcing Edge to be installed on Windows 10. In addition, I don't really trust Microsoft anymore, their data huger is developing more and more in the direction of Google. Firefox is a good alternative. Meanwhile they pay quite good attention to data protection. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to hold their ground against all the chronium-based browsers. They just laid off a quarter of the staff because of covid-19 a few days ago.

COVID-19 pandemic death rates by country - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG I have not illustrated the whole table. The numbers are sorted by the column "Deaths per 100,000 population". Germany is about 5 times lower than the USA here and therefore not on the top of the list. I don't like this kind of competition, because Covid-19 is not over yet and everything will get worse.

@Thestarider Your calculation is complete nonsense. First, the mortality rate refers to time. In the USA, the virus kills around 1000 people per day. But even more absurd is the statement of the "Change of NOT Dying from Covid-19". Cases and mortality by country as of August 13, 2020.[1] Country Confirmed cases Deaths Case fatality rate Deaths per 100,000 population San Marino 699 42 6.0% 124.32 Belgium 75,647 9,900 13.1% 86.67 United Kingdom 315,581 46,791 14.8% 70.37 Andorra 977 53 5.4% 68.83 Peru 489,680 21,501 4.4% 67.21 Spain 329,784 28,579 8.7% 61.17 Italy 251,713 35,225 14.0% 58.29 Sweden 83,455 5,774 6.9% 56.70 Chile 378,168 10,205 2.7% 54.49 United States 5,197,118 166,026 3.2% 50.75 Brazil 3,164,785 104,201 3.3% 49.75 France 244,088 30,375 12.4% 45.34 Mexico 498,380 54,666 11.0% 43.32 Panama 77,377 1,703 2.2% 40.77 Ireland 26,838 1,774 6.6% 36.55 Netherlands 61,718 6,182 10.0% 35.88 Ecuador 97,110 5,984 6.2% 35.03 Bolivia 95,071 3,827 4.0% 33.71 Colombia 422,519 13,837 3.3% 27.87

It's a little like asking someone which car is the best. There is no really general answer to this question. For me Firefox with the plug ins described above fits best (only not for reallifecam), but for you it could be a different browser (maybe chronium?). I have no actual recommendation and only want to suggest that you don't trust companies like Google, Microsoft and Facebook too much. BTW, it can also be interesting to think about what the internet provider can see and what he is allowed to do with this data in your country. Anyway Chrome and Edge are BAD 😉, Chronium or a browser based on it can be good (but do not need to be).

Chromium based web browsers dominate the internet. Even sometimes I hope for a little stronger competition, I see no real issue in this, because Chromium is open source (like Firefox). However, I am very hesitant about some of these non open source chrome based browsers. Especially before the use of Edge and Chrome you should really think carefully and make sure you always press the right buttons, if privacy is important to you.

For everything but reallifecam my favorite browser is Firefox with a few add ins: DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials Firefox MultiAccount Containers (Keep Google and Amazon in there own worlds 😉) NoScript (Not really necessary but enables fine tuning) The Idea of Brave Browser is interesting, but may not without issues: Brave web browser no longer claims to fundraise on behalf of others — so that’s nice | Attack of the 50 Foot Blockchain DAVIDGERARD.CO.UK Despite Brendan Eich tweeting for about five days to defend Brave’s previous behaviour, his web browser is no longer displaying apparent donation...

Step by step, he really seems to use a little time to get used to the cameras. It's better as if the sex takes place somewhere else. Maybe he got used to it in a few days. The two of them are obviously a real couple, I think it's great that they' re trying.

I would not give up that fast, there were also couples who needed one or two tries until they had normal sex in view of the camera. I find it remarkable that they have at least tried it, I had not thought it possible.

Actually, There weren't that many pigs in police uniforms pictured on those socks. At least less than there are former policemen who have already been convicted of police brutality. Think about it. This socks may only say that there are pigs in the police force who do not belong there. An accurate statement that deserves attention! BTW, You're the one making the generalization about the meaning of the socks for all the police force. It is kind of the same mistake as some police officers with prejudice against a certain skin color do. I think it is wrong to believe that BLM has no influence. The choice of Kamala Harris as the most likely next VP show that there is hope.

I'm not sure I agree with you about Trumps part in this issue.

This is what happened and the explanation for it from the one who started it. If you think you know something different, you should probably say what you think.
