  1. LOL yes she did! It's interesting that we can hear the, umm, toilet activities much clearer here than in the previous apt. Not that I'm IN to that kind of thing like you are @ed2 LMAO Also they moved the cat litter box from the foot of the tub closer to the toilet, which makes more sense when scooping the pooping. And the tub can barely fit all of their bottles of "product." SO. MANY. BOTTLES. Women will always baffle me, especially with their need for countless bathing products. But, we've had this discussion ad infinitum and we'll never come to a sensible conclusion. 😄
  2. I don't want to sound negative, but that thing looks like it could only hold four plates, four glasses, and some silverware. And it's just the two of them. I guess my question is, what's the point? They removed the microwave and replaced with a countertop dishwasher? Ehhhh.... 🤔 I can't see diddly squat right now, since all I'm getting from VH is the constantly spinning circle.... 😡
  3. I have noticed, as of the last two nights, the girls have switched sleeping positions. Kira is normally left, Nina right. The past two nights, Nina left, Kira right. What's. Going. On? Even Sugar Duck looks confused. "Hey moms, aren't we supposed to be on the OTHER side?" But Butch doesn't give a shit, just lookin for some comfy feets!
  4. I wish I knew how to photochop like you guys, but if I could.... I would be driving my big red truck right up this perfectly dangerous, very tight, and very narrow alley. *sigh* I think she likes big trucks. Do you think she likes big trucks? I WANT her to like big trucks. I think she could drive my big red truck. She's got the upper body strength, and of course the stamina and grit and the MOXIE to never fail. I would give her control of RedJenn anytime, anywhere.
  5. Interesting that they deliver a new range (or 'cooker' as it's apparently called over there), but they don't remove teh old unit. Hmmm. In USA, when you buy a new appliance, the deliverymen remove the old unit, and install the new unit. Must be different overseas. The old unit is one of those crappy solid-disk style crappy pieces of crap. The disks always burn up and fail. They are crap. The price of one new disc is the same as the price of a brand new range. F*ck that. A crappy lousy crappy design, and Kira was smart to replace it. Makes me think that Nina's Papa toured the apartment prior to going live and said "Gyet ryid uff dees crappy stove, da? Ees pees uf sheet. I buy you nyew HANSA qwaulity, da?" Hansa/Amica is high quality stuff in Russia, equivalent to USA's Maytag or Whirlpool. It looks adequate for Chef Kira. I'd prefer she be able to cook on a gas Vulcan (and I'm sure she would too). There's nothing like it. Once you go gas, you never go back. But at least that crappy solid disk shit is out of there.
  6. Just say YES to crack! 🤪
  7. Understood. My fault. I will try. I'll chat with you about the L7A2 offline. I think Nina cut her hair again during the move? Anyone?
  8. I saw where Vlad was supposedly secure as President till '36. This in and of itself should motivate Nina and the band to produce even MORE hard hitting anti-Vlad lyrics and music for the Russian underground LGBT community. It's going to be interesting to watch what develops...
  9. I grant you your respect, but this isn't the place to discuss such things as Constitutional 2nd Amendment rights. There are other forums on CC for that. My only concern here is for the safety and security of our girls, and what they could do to improve that. I have feared every time they nonchalantly opened the door without looking through the peephole first. They are too trusting. It's nice to have chocolates, but better to have security. Especially where they are.
  10. Indeed. And I do. Better to have guns than chocolates. 😉 I agree with both of these statements. To keep on topic, I am absolutely sure that Kira would be able to disable an intruder with her jujitsu skilz, and then Kira would have to prevent Nina from bashing the intruder's brains in with her Fists Of Fury. I'd still feel more comfortable if they had at least a tazer or bear spray at the ready in the hall. Call me cautious, but I've been around the world a few times. And I doubt very seriously there is any kind of VHTV "security" if something goes wrong.
  11. Understood. Nina immediately starting brushing Sundance once she found the Furminator, and got quite a bit of hair. Plus the bag of toys sprinkled all over him. I get it now. Nina was totally concerned about Butch and Sundance the whole time. Beautiful. A little OCD isn't a bad thing. I inherited a lot of it from my mother and father. A place for everything, and everything in its place is how I was raised. Carries through to this day, to some extent. 24 oz hammertooth framing hammer? Barn, pegboard, left side, below the hacksaw. If it's not there, well... then I get concerned. It happened once, after a beer or two. Was building an addition onto the barn to cover the Razor, and left the hammer out. Won't make that mistake again.
  12. Interesting. I suppose it's concerning, much like hiding dyed Easter eggs and forgetting where you hid a couple of them, until you can find them quite easily a few weeks later. 🤢
  13. I'll never understand Dutch humor 😜
  14. I shudder to think. Kira needs wings on her back, she's clearly a guardian angel.
  15. I got curious about this and checked the replay. Oh my god they were turning the entire place upside-down for HOURS, every nook and cranny in every room was searched, nearly no stone unturned, and it seemed like it got a little contentious between them at some points. I think I noticed that Nina even called Lex up (as they were both on the phone at the same time), probably asking if he could search for whatever precious treasure she was missing. And then it seemed Nina just gave up, totally bummed. But after dinner, Kira, NEVER one to give up, resumed the search, and finally, EUREKA! I finally found the magic moment. For those interested, the discovery occurs in the bedroom at 2105. But I took a few snaps - I hope they show up in order. Discovery: JOY!: Relief! A well-deserved big thank you from Nina!! (she was basically happy-crying) The thing I don't get is that the box contained just random stuff - a bunch of charger cables? A bunch of cat stuff - toys, brushes, and a bunch of weird yellow squares? Like @freitag58 said, 777 different things. I wonder why it caused such panic? Lesson learned - always mark each and every box of the general contents inside when packing! Or, another tactic - get rid of so much SHTUFF so you don't have so much SHTUFF to search for something missing. But, at least harmony has returned at NinaKiraVille. 🥰
  16. Same here, except I just let Fred clean them off. He does a great job! 🐕 Actually, I do have a dishwasher, but damned if I can remember when I actually opened the door. Now I'm curious if it still works. I'll have to test it tonight.
  17. I heard that 89.3% of statisticians agree that 74.9% of statistics are completely made up. 🤓
  18. I think so, but it's called a McFlurry, if I recall from commercials. But not sure, I haven't eaten McDonalds or any fast food joints for decades. The stuff is repulsive, IMO.
  19. They are like keyholders or in their case, badge holders. I've seen them in various other VH apartments, the few that I've browsed through. I think they are just supposed to resemble a lightning bolt, nothing more.
  20. I believe the containers are sealed so as to keep them absolutely waterproof/element proof. I imagine they are opened in a depot and then the 640 rounds transferred to the battlefield-style flip-top canisters with handles on the top, which are not exactly 100% reliably element proof, or just pre-load a bunch of magazines, ready for use. While 640 rounds might sound like a lot, with the standard 30-round magazine for an AK, that only equals 21 magazines. I could burn through those in about 10 mins, or 2 minutes if I had full-auto capability (*disclaimer* but I don't know ANYTHING about that!). Probably more info than you really wanted to know. 👆
  21. Well well, a black baker's rack and a glass coffee table (probably second hand). It appears the living room is starting to look like an actual living room - albeit a small one. Maybe they read here in the forum when I said the only ones who would use the couch would be Butch and Sundance, to look out the window. And then they set out to prove me wrong LOL. And here we are, they certainly did prove me wrong, so mea culpa ladies - well done. Now you just need to get one of those swivel TV wall mounts so you don't have to strain your necks to watch the TV. The Union Jack rug seems a bit... odd, but probably left there by previous tenants. And I saw on replay where they were securing a lot of the loose cables with runs. Things are taking shape very well! Good job, girls (as always)!
  22. Somebody PLEASE do something about cam-7?? This is ridiculous. 😡
  23. Hey Lets, do you remember this beautiful simple piece of engineering? I present two pics of my very own personal Miracle Roll can opener, inherited from over two generations, and the only can opener I use to this day. She's a bit rusty but still trusty after countless decades. The funny part is watching the youngins try to operate this extremely complicated piece of machinery LMAO.
  24. I know Kira has a tendency to... check out rooftops in Peter. I just hope she doesn't leap between them. 😳 Even though she is Bat Kira. 🦇
  25. Stretching/exercising in the kitchen, then working in a red star robe with a cuppa. After 0300! God bless this woman. 🤩
