    Like many of our talented, art-educated members, I tried to find a Renaissance painting to do this pic justice. Alas, I'm not as cultured as some of you, and this is the best I could come up with. Obviously not a good replica, but whoever painted this was a man who understands me. Redheads.

    While it should be no secret to anyone that Kira is my girl, and I favor her nearly 90% of the time, I want to stress that I echo both of these above sentiments. Nina has many more negatives than Kira, but when Nina shines, she REALLY shines. It's most apparent when they work on a project together (including in the bedroom). I HAVE posted positive things about Nina. Honestly, I tried to imagine what each would be like on their own, without the other, and it just doesn't work (well, imagining Kira riding shotgun in my truck, that works out very well 😊). In my mind, I think that, without each other, they would both be wandering through life, existing but feeling lost in the world, that one missing puzzle piece in their life. Unfortunately for the sacrificial lamb, they did find each other, and the rest is history. I guess most of my scorn of Nina stems from residual effects of my first exposure to them 5 years ago on RLC. And that's not fair to Nina. As newbie back then, I didn't understand the dynamics of the relationship and thought Nina was an overbearing cunt, and Kira was her slave. After viewing them over the years, I've learned this is not the case. Extrovert + Introvert is the best combination, because they can feed off of each other to succeed. And that's one thing our girls have always done - succeed.

    Tonight, Hairball is getting to stretch his legs - er, wheels. Butch prefers Hairball over B&L, because Hairball doesn't have a pecker. Any idea what the card game is? Can't see the cards, but the game play seems similar.

    Tonight was an active night! Much extreme cleaning! They even opened up the curtains and washed the windows. In anticipation of... a first visit from Papa Nina! He got his first tour of the new apartment, and seemed to approve. Of course, he checked out all the faucets, the closet doors, the windows, the light switches, to see if there is something he can fix - all the things a father does. Kira whipped up one of her famous culinary delights (mashed taters and what appears to be a chicken curry, and veggies), and toasted the event with a wine. As you can see, like father/like daughter, they both shovel the yummy dinner into their gobs LOL (Kira eats very daintily). Afterward it looks like Dad was telling Dad jokes to entertain them. Later, he got to meet Breakfast and Lunch, up close. So much more activity tonight after Dad leaves, but I'm out of room LOL. 4/11 was an interesting and action-packed night.

    I could be wrong, but I really don't think Nina has slept at all tonight... in 24 hours. It seems like she's obsessed with the SIMS game. I heard those games can be addictive. 🤨

    Basically bc I live in the middle of nowhere, Virginia. I have to drive half a mile down my driveway to get one-bar on my cell. I get my TV from satellite. My internet is run by hamsters. Like I said, anything over 2 minutes I might as well forget it, unless I let it download overnight for 6 hours. So, thanks again for the 2 min Kapitan clip. 🙂

    It's why I've followed N&K for years. They are the same as they were back on RLC. They are real. They live their lives. They don't give a shit what anyone thinks. They don't play scripts for views like the rest of what I've seen on VHTV. They provide us with subtle signs and inklings. To completely appreciate them, everyone needs to just watch them. I don't think you will find this kind of forum discussion on any of the other apartments. (please correct me if I'm wrong) I'd venture to say that N&K are breaking all the VH rules, and yet they still succeed. Bravo, ladies!

    Ahhh, nice add Kjeld, I forgot about the part where Butch whap-whap-WHAPS the shit out of one bird, then turns his attention to the other. And Nina watches him do it! It was nice of Nina to switch her fresh, untouched plate of dinner with Kira's, because Nina will eat anything, but Kira switched them back, picking out the cat hair and bird feathers. Personally I would've dumped the mess and ordered a pizza LOL.

    If not too much trouble, could someone make a SHORT recording (I can't d/l the long ones, my hamsters can't keep up) of the Nina/Kira duet of "Kapitan" that they sing while Kira makes spaghetti dinner. It starts around 22:43:45 and lasts 2 minutes, and I watched cam-1 to watch Kira singing. It's quite adorable (and they have great harmony!). Apparently Lunch's true name comes from an actual song. Then, for a laugh, check out 22:52, when one of the birds dive-bombs poor Kira just trying to eat, and she ends up dumping half of her dinner right into her lap. Nina starts laughing her ass off. Kira laughs but also looks like wants to cry, and then just mad. When she goes to change her shirt, Butch jumps up on the sofa and stalks the bad bird, as if he was saying "you ruined my mom's dinner - prepare to BECOME dinner!" Maybe I'm strange, but personally, I don't think having the birds fluttering around the room while you're trying to have dinner is the best or brightest idea. Keep the damned things in the cage until dinner is over. Poor Kira just can't get a break!

    Did I miss something? Why is Kira on the couch with a blanket at 0330?? Nina looks distressed on the phone in the kitchen. 😟

    Yup, I can sleep just about anywhere, but when at home, I'm always on the left side (same side as you-know-who). Fred gets (and takes up) the rest of the king size bed.

    Call me crazy, but this is a sure sign of the coming apocalypse - when they switch sides on the bed! Nina left Kira right, Kira left Nina right GAHH!! It's all wrong! Next thing you know, birds will be perching on cats backs!! Wait... GAHHH!!! RAPTURE!!

    As someone on here recently said... "ask and ye shall receive." I guess it works! 😀 1. Kira is finally getting what she wanted/needed 2. What a lovely view 3. I think this is the loudest and most spasmodic I've ever seen Nina 4. Just look at that smile. One happy satisfied girl It may take a long time to happen, but when it does - jackpot payoff! 🥰

    Poor Kira looks bored and "frustrated" if you know what I mean. She wants/needs some action! If Nina could hold two phones in her hand at the same time while watching the laptop, I think she would! 🙄

    I got lucky with this timeline snap. No modifications, no filters, just straight sunlight softly coming in through the window curtains, and a lucky capture for me at 0806 St Pete time. It's almost David Hamilton-ish in nature, don't you think? Meanwhile, Butch is not happy that he is hungry and no one is moving.

    Excellent analysis my friend! I envy you folks with superior equipment to mine (and sharper eyes than mine), and the ability to edit pics and videos. Well met! They seem to acquire a lot of new household "toys" for being on such a supposed tight budget. Several new kitchen gadgets, and Hairball should have cost them a precious ruble or two, those things aren't cheap, unless it was a gift from Dad and Mom. Breakfast and Lunch are an added expense for food and litter. Cat tree (fail), exercise pole (fail), smoothie maker (success). Either they are expert money budgeters (my guess) or they are floating in credit card debt. I seriously hope not the latter. In other news, Kira's butt just seems to keep getting better and better by the day. Damn shame they couldn't get the 'exercise pole' to work. Kira could've ROCKED that thing. 🤪
