Hi Amy3,I have seen that you have a very high reputation and therefore you have been following the Forum for a long time and you certainly have more experience than me that I have only recently done.I wanted to ask you a couple of things.We assume that VHTV is a pornographic site.When a tenant signs the agreement with VHTV, he knows what the subscribers expect from him/her.So what is the point of signing this agreement if you decide to have sex somewhere else? It would make sense if VHTV gave you the apartment for free but I think it was not.Also I did not understand what criterion are paid tenants: sex scenes or connection time of subscribers?Thank you.-
Yes, it is a pornographic site! But no, the tenants are under no obligation to have sex. They reasons that they do are twofold. One, is because they are young and horny and many have a large appetite for sex. Two, because having sex is the single best way to get people to view their apt. The tenants on VHTV get paid based on how much subscribers, not non members, view through the cams in their apt. Also, note, the tenants do not get paid for view through the "free" cam ever, even if a subscriber views it.
So, to make money a tenant should have as much sex or create as much drama as possible to entice the viewers. BUT, they don't have to if they don't want to. VH can and has removed an apt for low viewership, but it's pretty rare really.
I can tell you this. Em and Sid are tenants under the management of Anna and Alex. These 2 just left VH cause she is pregnant. But, the important thing to know is that they wield a great deal of power over VH and of they want to keep Em and Sid on, even if they do nothing for days or weeks on end, VH would never in million years say no to them. They are that powerful. Also, of great importance to you is that the drama scenario that you are helping develop also has a powerful effect of swaying viewers to watch simply for the dramatic value of it. So, in a sense you are aiding Em by increasing the dramatic value of the apt by exposing this notion that she's actually cheating on Sid. Yes, that's right. You may very well be helping her get more views and thus more money simply by driving a dramatic storyline.
