It sure was Ashley, we normally don't shoot anything for the first couple of weeks because we are primarily observing to see whats showing up and to make sure the ones we want to shoot agree with what we have been seeing on the trail cameras. This is to make sure that everyone knows what deer we need to take and not deer that are too young (deer management)........we only shoot mature bucks and does for the majority of the time unless there is a cull buck or two that needs to be taken out or a mean young doe that keeps running other deer off (hence the trail cam captures). Late in the season we will tally up what has been taken and if we haven't met the quota, we will invite friends to come and get them a deer.
