That's what happened in Cally's pic above. Her face and the area from one knee to the other are way too overexposed. It's a problem also known as being washed out because there is very little detail in the overexposed areas. While there's not much you can do when there's so little detail to start with and I'm no professional photo editor, IMHO, this copy may be a little better than the original with a bit more detail where it counts. But, like I said, you can't create detail where there isn't any to start with. (Purged) And, just to be clear, absolutely none of this problem had anything to do with Cally. It was the fault of whoever turned on the high intensity light(s) and aimed it/them right between her legs. The light from her phone was the problem on her face.
