That is just a plain insidious argument and you full well know it. The constitution is exactly why we don't elect the highest office in the land by popular vote. It is not representative of this great UNITED STATES, so our forefathers thought about this very hard before adopting the electoral college and it has worked just fine for 250 years !!!!
