HarleyFatboy Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 After reading several posts from people saying their subscriptions are almost up, how do these people know when their subscriptions are almost up? Is it a guess on their part, do they have it "X" out on a calendar, is there a countdown timer involved? I've always wondered how you people track your subscription periods. Any reply would be appreciated as I don't know how it all works.
Guest Slipper Guyquad Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 You can either pay month by month, so like a rolling contract, or take out a 'Lump Sum' longer deal, so you pay in advance for 3 months, or 6 months etc. A longer deal saves you a bit of money that way. But if you pay each month - Like i do - Then you know when you cancel you only get what ever is left that month on your sub. If you signed on say, April 2 for a 3 month deal, then you know ahead you have so much time left.

Thanks for the reply Slip, I can see paying month to month to be more beneficial as far as keeping up with time to cancel the membership prior to being re-billed.....I hate the fact that they re-bill you without you having the option. With a 3 month or longer subscription, I would personally be lost as to when to cancel. I guess I have one more question now that I think about it. If a person was to take out a 3 month or longer subscription, say today, could that person cancel his subscription tomorrow and still be able to watch for the rest of the 3 months or longer period? It's been so long since I've done any of it, I have no clue how it all works now. However, this in no way means that I am considering taking out a subscription at this time!! Things would really have to change for that to happen and it has to start with getting rid of all the repeats. Thanks again for your response and have a good day my friend!!

Yep, you pay for the month ahead, in advance, so you sign on April 2 for one month, if you cancel at any time, you still get all that month to watch, so if you cancel on April 20, you will still get the full 30 days you paid for at the start. Then it ends. If you don't cancel, it just automatically rolls on. So therefore i would imagine this is the same if you take out the longer deal - I have never done that, someone else will have to answer but my guess is that it will be the same. Think of it like this. You buy a beer, hand over the money and the beer is placed in front of you. It's then yours - Up to you, whether you drink the whole bottle or leave some behind!

LOL, I'm not a subscriber AS but have been curious lately if RLC changed the way the subs were as far as when someone's time is up. That auto re-bill used to always piss me off and some of the posts the way they were written, kind of made me think they had changed something so the auto re-bill wasn't a big thing anymore. I know, it's crazy for me to think that RLC would ever give a shit!! 1

There is no rebilling when PayPal is used. 1

At least segpay isn't charging me for stuff I didn't ask for like they've done in the past.

Have 2 PayPal Accounts, one for personal items and the other for leisure activities. 1
