Each is dragged into a war if any member is. Alliances are a terrible idea that's why America was never to have allies. Commerce with all alliances with none was our directive. But banks make their big money in war/s. Follow the money. If Canada made a pact with China to put missiles on our border we'd hypocritically scream bloody murder. Biden is threatening China over China asking west Africa for a seaport because it's too close to the US. You can't make this crap up. Politics get a lot of people in wars they don't want.
