A word of warning about RLC subscriptions....

I had a standard subscription which I upgraded to premium a couple of months ago.  I wanted to cancel my subscrition completely and recieved this back from Segpay.

This email serves as a cancellation receipt for reallifecam.com.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this purchase, please feel free to contact our customer support department in one of the following ways:

The quickest way to solving any billing problem is to contact SegPay's customer support department before your bank or card company.

Please note that you will have access until your expiration date. In addition, please be aware that we do not always have control of consumers access to the sites. Please contact the webmaster or our customer support department at [email protected] if you can still access the site after your subscription has expired. Accessing the site after your expiration date does not mean that you are still being billed. Consider this receipt as your successful cancellation and end of billing for this particular subscription to reallifecam.com.

All past transactions will appear as SegPayEU.com on your statement.

However, my subscription changed from Premium to Standard - it did NOT cancel and a standard fee was taken from my bank.  I'm now told that I should have cancelled the upgrade to Premium and then made a separate cancellation of my standard subscrition.

The catch is in the phrase "for this particular subscription" in the above e-mail.  Apparently premium and standard are treated as totally separate transactions.

Probably not illegal but very, very sharp practice.  I have now cancelled for a second time.

For those with premium subscriptions, don't get caught out like I did.

I would wonder if this a RLC or Segpay issue.  I have dealt with Segpay before and was not pleased.  Just wondering if you emailed RLC about this and got a response - if so please post it.

I am awaiting a response from RLC......

This was RLCs response which says more or less what Segpay said.  They say my Premium Membership had been cancelled leaving a Standard Membership remaining.

This is a copy of their response...

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Our System present that your Premium membership already has been canceled but you still have an active Standard subscription.

We can suggest you to refund your last two payments for the Standard subscription in amount of 2 * $29,95 = $59,90 or provide you two (2) month of the Premium membership.

Please, let u know about your decision.

I have accepted their offer of two months Premium Membership for effectively the price of One month standard membership (which they have already taken).

a mi , me caduco la membresia , pienso darme de alta otra vez , pero pienso tambien ¿ por que ? no hay nada que ver , si fuera nuevo, seguramente me llamaria la atencion , pero despues de 5 meses , no encuentro ninguna razon ahora mismo para volver a pagar , hoy por hoy creo que es de los peores momentos en los apartamentos , todo esta muy visto , creo que rlf debería plantearse hacer algunos cambios , a la larga creo que este formato esta muerto .

yes,rlc are really bored actually.it's good present new appartments but if you put inside  bored couples (sofia,katya),it's not necessery.

rlc need work more time on the casting couples,it's very important for the attractivity.

for me there is just diana/efim are attractive,the rest not really.j like alina too but how many years they are on rlc,maybe 3 years,it's too long,

we need more turn over,when you have see 50 times the same sex session,at the end you are tired and you want see new couples,it's normal but

rlc prefer stay on the couch and continue present bad castings exept diana soo no reasons for pay actually.

j think we see very soon new couple in appartment of isabelle/marcelo but if rlc have change nothing in this appartment with the cameras quality and positions,j don't renew my suscription ,that's it.j'm good actually with the free cameras we have.

rlc have don't understand 90% of guys pay,it's for make voyeur sex and nudity,if rlc continue make bad castings,this website have no future for sure.this concept have a limit right now.

who are crazy for  pay 30$ for see people sleeping or practice hidden sex or a lot of empty appartments!

I'm glad that I don't really pay for anything on the Internet. It's usually a worldwide scam. I paid here, because it's a forum and have been satisfied with my communications with the administration here. I also know what it takes to run a forum. Maybe one that isn't as big as this, but a public forum all the same.
