When the cam doesn't see direct light it stays in night time mode Dasha's bedroom cam's turn to color mode just from laptop screen. This lamp is enough for day mode. I don't think direct light matters so much as other apartments, and there other cameras in this apartment do not work that way. Also this camera lost one of it's colors, maybe green or blue for a few days before this constant night mode. Everything looked purplish for that time from cam 5.
