And Paul probably loves all this dissent/negativity - means his plans working, and he knows Leora always reacts badly to it... Maybe, just as an alternative, his efforts to sabotage the apartment, is his way of trying to get them out of the project - if thats the case, maybe he needs to have a conversation with Leora and tell her just that.
