My favorite channel on YouTube was Bald and Bankrupt.  Enjoyed watching Bald and Bankrupt's travels to Russia and to the other current and former member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)

His travels brought back the Russia of memory.  That, and now watching under current-day Putin, the return of isolation and paranoia of yesteryear.  Putin was once a colonel in the KGB.  When the KGB was dissolved and reorganized as the FSB, Putin, rather surprisingly, was left by the wayside.  His next job was driving a taxi in Saint. Petersburg.. And I am pretty certain that RLC began in Saint Petersburg.  Did paths cross?  Probably not, but who knows for certain.
