She tried to kiss him goodnight and he just flinched back, wiped his lips with his hand and said something, turning his back against her. Wonder what (or who) she did to get that kind of treatment..

Just put on some face cream or any other shit that smells or feels greasy when kissed, and you get the exact same reaction from me. Not pissed or upset, just do not like feeling that. True.. :) What I thought about though was this in context with that she was crying in the bath and looking at her ring (I assume it is an engagement ring) and fiddling with it..
