The last time I checked RLC, it stated participants living their real lives 24/7. Nowhere on RLC's website does it specify that participants are required to engage in activities like masturbation, having sex, being queer, or anything else that floats their boat. They could simply sit and stare at their phones and lounge of sofas or stay in bed all day, as it only states they are "living their real life." 2

No no, this info is straight from the advertisement that was generated ...it might turn out to be a hoax but words on the advertisement for reallifecam says 'nudity for 70% of their time in the apartments' and sexual activity is 'encouraged' so it therefore 'not required' like matey here said.

It's a hoax that has been out there for years likely started on Craigslist. RLC does not advertise to select their participants. 1

Pretty much confirms what I've always believed then that RLC is not a porn site, and that they merely 'encourage' adult content from the tenants 'if they wish to provide' by participating in such activity but if not then nothing happens and continue to live their lives under the cameras. 1
