Blocking the IP ranges 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255 (10.0.0.0/8), 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255 (172.16.0.0/12), and 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255 (192.168.0.0/16) can effectively eliminate approximately 95% of VPN traffic. This is because VPNs are typically restricted to using certain IP ranges, with the mentioned ranges being the most commonly utilized. By blocking these ranges, users would be limited to accessing the internet using the actual IP address assigned by their Internet Service Provider (ISP). GPT websites use this as a way to prevent users by gaming the system for monetary gain. Now this aint how that works. All the ranges you list are for private use (lan). Blocking those on your server will result it wont be able to communicate at all with anything more or less, no router, no wifi. To block vpn's you have to block every vpn servers outpipe in the world including my 3 servers I use for myself. Quote

Someone, somewhere, no matter how you do it, they have a record tracing right back to whatever device you used to access their website, no matter the content. If someone wants to follow me around the Internet, have at it. I'll bore you to tears. Most of the traffic (web) are encrypted (https) between you and the webhost so at most the vpn provider could see are where you surf. Or just use a webproxy Quote

While safety and compliance are at the forefront of our mission, giving your ID card every time you want to visit an adult platform is not the most effective solution for protecting our users, and in fact, will put children and your privacy at risk. In addition, mandating age verification without proper enforcement gives platforms the opportunity to choose whether or not to comply. As we’ve seen in other states, this just drives traffic to sites with far fewer safety measures in place. Very few sites are able to compare to the robust Trust and Safety measures we currently have in place. To protect children and user privacy, any legislation must be enforced against all platforms offering adult content. The safety of our users is one of our biggest concerns. We believe that the best and most effective solution for protecting children and adults alike is to identify users by their device and allow access to age-restricted materials and websites based on that identification. Until a real solution is offered, we have made the difficult decision to completely disable access to our website in Florida. Please contact your representatives before it is too late and demand device-based verification solutions that make the internet safer while also respecting your privacy. TBG 150 Posted September 23 Posted September 23 I just tried to click the original post and it won't load anymore. They may have taken that notice down, I don't know. I also haven't tried to access that site either. I know where I'm not wanted and if I have to prove that I'm old enough to look at your channel, I'll just go look at another. Porn is porn is porn, no matter who hosts it. Quote
