They had a free agreement with RLC in exchange for a complete cleaning of the apartment and furniture! We saw Vega and Rex renovate the apartment and store their own furniture there, in addition to the RLC furniture, so much so that the apartment looked like a storage unit! Today they can finally move into their real home and are therefore leaving RLC. I don't think this is the case ...today they returned and restocked all the cupboards with what was there when V&L lived there, plates, saucepans, cutlery ...all kitchen stuff which seemed to have been stored underneath the balcony cam. If this home was temporary, then they'd have likely saved all their own brand new kitchen items for the 'real home' and not unpacked it all for 16 weeks in a temporary house despite their germaphobia. Brokk! Posted Sunday at 09:13 AM Posted Sunday at 09:13 AM Let's just say they were kicked out by RLC. Why kick them? They didn't violate any rules, as far as we know. They were adjusting pretty well to the cameras, they even had sex in plain sight, so they weren't shy people or anything. If I didn't understand why RLC included this couple in the project before, now I don't understand why they kicked them out. It seems like a poor attempt to fix a wrong. Quote

I don't really understand, maybe it's the translation. I think it's normal that Vega and Rex put the dishes that didn't belong to them back in the cupboards before leaving. Quote

Yes, that is normal, but you said perhaps their stay was short term so for me in this case why bother unpacking their own brand new stuff if they knew this was a stop-gap until they found their dream home. I think they felt this apartment was their dream home, but they seemingly forgot they were on RLC and were costing RLC a lot of money and of course many disgruntled subbers probably emailed them about V&R like when some subbers email RLC about other participants/couples that should pack and be gone. I hope this isn't the case. Otherwise, virtually NO tenant is safe. Anyone can mail bombing a tenant or a couple to sent them out. In my opinion, it should always be RLC who decides to kick someone based on specific criteria or rules, not based on the mood of someone who wakes up feeling bad that day. Quote

It's also possible they didn't know exactly when their actual apartment would be available; their expectations could have varied depending on factors we don't know. One thing is certain: when you move into a furnished apartment and plan to stay there for a long time, you get rid of your own furniture to avoid clutter! That's not what Vega and Rex did; they kept all their furniture, storing it however they could! You only do that when you know the situation is temporary. Quote

Most of their own furniture was brand new as they unwrapped it all from what looked like professionally factory wrapped purchases. Quote
