It seems it wasn't RLC's decision to close it.  According to my Spanish friend, from conversations in the apartment, the apartment owner didn't renew the lease with RLC.

And it wasn't their first apartment in Barcelona, it was just the first "on vacation" apartment, and so the first of the "B" series of apartments named by this forum.  RLC already had four apartments in Barcelona before this one, with Nora and Kiko's apartment being the first.

It was their first 'on vacation' apartment then if we want to be category 'specific', but what makes me laugh are those that literally think everyone else here thinks RLC closed it simply based on no other reason being mentioned in the forum or other reasons were simply forgot. Does it really matter who was responsible for its closure ...no, of course not, and if it was then rather than finding it 'funny' then perhaps the OP should have come up with their own reason or facts why it closed instead of being unhelpful as usual from that OP.

B1 was a brilliant apartment has had etched many memories in viewers heads from many years ago to very recently ...it's a shame the landlord and RLC could not see a way forward.

Today, a legend has died. B1 was the first apartment setting new standards for RLC. It was and will ever be my favorite RLC apartment of all times with all of its ups and downs. If Kiko & Nora really own this place, will they rent it out privately to new tenants again, or will they sell it? Don't forget to post the obligatory "Save travels"-post! Amen & thank you so much. 😭💔🙏

@Ash1 Views on this being as you had one for mine ...I'd be interested with your thoughts.

I don't understand why some people are crying over the loss of an apartment here.

This place (and some others) was dead for some time and RLC isn't just about staring at empty rooms. RLC is all about the residents, and for some time now, RLC has been facing a problem that is becoming more pressing with each passing month. There is a lack of new, attractive, and sympathetic girls who are truly willing to participate in the project. And this problem isn't going to get any better if they keep spreading the dwindling number of girls around in such a way that, in the end, there are more and more half-empty apartments left. Especially for a place like B1, this make no sense, because the girls can not even party there because the neighbors immediately raise the alarm.

Sorry, the problem isn't the apartments—it's the lack of residents or the fact that the quality of the residents is generally declining. Only when RLC finally starts investing here again (and I’m hoping it’s not too late for that) will we see any improvements any maybe even some new apartments at some point. In the meantime, I think RLC should focus on quality rather than quantity. Better to have fewer apartments, but ones with residents who are worth the money.

Ever the positive person you are with the same old guff EVERY time ...oh dear oh dear oh dear.

This falls in line with my comments of the place possibly being lost due to way to many complaints to the actual condo owner for various reasons

did she have long dark hair and the guy had a cast on his arm?

Yes she had long dark hair and long legs. Was some sort of athlete I believe is what I read at 1 time. They were in the apartment before Luna and Zac were in it and Zac's cat burglar cousin was stealing from the neighbors

If they close out another Barcelona apartment the next to fall would likely be B2. It gone long past it's shelf life.
