But there are likely more reasons, otherwise how do you explain Leora and Linda still being around. Just my two cents and I'm just guessing here but the couples/roommates/singles 'might' sign lengthy contracts of 6 months to 1 year or 2 years 'rolling' although this is largely aimed at the top 3/5 apartments in terms of position on the RLC left hand column/list from oldest to most recent at the bottom (M&J). The Barce project is mainly 'On Vacation' so their contracts are likely more open due to the simple fact they only have suitcases to pack and are easier to leave either by participants choice or RLC's choice. The couples it's a bit of a bigger job to move from an RLC rented apartment I'd have thought. That said ...we have seen couples/roommates/singles apartments go offline for days/weeks after a sudden departure before/after the cams go off. As I said just my two cents anyway. Quote

To me one of the strangest cases was Vega and Rex. It looked like they were settling in for the long haul, only to leave almost overnight. Or am I wrong? 1 Quote
MrTickler Posted Thursday at 06:20 PM Posted Thursday at 06:20 PM If B1 Closing was due to cost saving measures, and they are thinking of doing it again, it will only be counterproductive as surely they would lose even more subscribers. It's a vicious cycle for business in these hard times. 1 Quote

You are right yes ...as you said almost overnight, but it's like with any contracts in anything ...they can be broken with a back hander and certain terms so RLC probably said here's a few bob to leave and they paid them for the new installs like the sofa/bed and the dishwasher which the frigging cupboard door doesn't fit over the actual dishwasher so it's makes the kitchen look an eyesore. The cupboard door remains leaning against T Boner Kitchen Office desk 😆 Quote

I don't want to belabour the point, but I don't believe B1 was shut down due to cost saving measures Quote

Then coming home arguing in the wee hours although I think their arguments were somewhat low key if at all and they ended up sulking till the morning after. Maybe the neighbours launched a petition and finally won after years of RLC girls and guests attending and forced RLC to pull put. Quote

That was probably just speculation, but there were several reasons that this might have been beyond RLC control and not just because they are retarded. Though both things could be true 😄 Quote

I could never see them move from one building to the other cause they always went "inside" and came in "inside" rather then through the garden Quote

Wonder who holds the record? Leora and Paul joined in 2013. Leora was briefly off RLC when they closed the Russian apartments in 2019, she reappeared 2 months later in Prague., Paul joined her there 3 years later. Leora, then Paul, have more days as a tenant of RLC than anyone. Linda and Tibor have the 3rd most days as an RLC tenant, joining in January 2017, and have the longest continuous tenancy on RLC. 1 Quote
