Except that it needs the opposite because they need a Pope to tell them what they are doing and what they believe is against Islam. Everywhere in Europe and North America is under threat from these people because certain mosques/schools, mainly funded by Saudi Arabia, teach a version of Islam which teaches that anything out of the West is evil. Bizarrement, aucun enfant, ni adolescent, ni femmes dans les migrants..... Ils quittent leur pays ? Sans se battre ? Sont-ils vraiment des migrants ? Closing the borders didn't mean what you think. What they meant was stricter vetting of people leaving to ensure those involved in the terrorist attacks couldn't escape. Our very eloquent Prime Minister, who back home tends to promote a hearts and mind policy, is now in Europe on the international stage and has already suggested peace keepers on the ground in Syria. I guess he wanted to get in first to receive the accolades. Funny how ISIS can kill 224 innocent Russian tourist and no one really seems to care but we all want to instantly go to war when they shoot 120+ French. ISIS is ISIS, no matter who they kill and in this instance Russia is just as much an ally as France. First of all, you have to have peace before you can keep it. That was always the issue, we weren't allowed to enforce it to start with. You need peace enforcers, front line combat soldiers not rear guard administrators. Secondly, and more importantly, you can't fix the problem if you don't remove the cause. It's like buying buckets to catch the rain coming through the roof instead of fixing the roof. Whether you like the reasoning or not, we don't belong in the middle east, anymore than we belonged in Vietnam. We created this monster, lets back off and leave them to it. If it's only the minority that are the issue, then let the majority sort them out. We don't need their oil, there is enough growing technology in solar, wind and wave power generation to resolve our power and pollution problems, even nuclear as a last resort. But that will put the multi-national oil companies out of business and we can't have that. The workers will get employment in emerging technologies but the oil barons will go broke. While they were fighting each other for "thousands of years", they didn't have terrorist groups killing people in America, Canada, Europe and Australia. This phenomenon started when WE decided to move in and interfere, divide up the nations between various super powers, promise autonomy which we never gave them, attempted to control the flow of oil, replaced governments with leaders of our choice, verbally supported regimes while secretly funding their enemies etc, etc, etc. WE didn't create this monster? I grew up thinking actors in American movies with twangs, drawls and the like were from somewhere up North, like Liverpool or Manchester, or maybe down south, like Somerset or Cornwall. I only read the book, which didn't come with much in the way of accents. itay Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 what amazes me is that no one care about jews being killed by terrorist in israel. infact it was last week when the eu decided to boycut products from settelments (including from golan region which never was part of the israeli palestinian war, it was taken from syria). 18 israelies were killed and dozens injured in over 10 terrorist attacks is israeli (mostly stabbing attacks) and yet the world blames israel for using "unproportional force" upon the terrorist commiting those attack. some of the media in the world (bbc cnn and so) even went as far as telling their audience about arab casualties and not telling those casualties were terrorist that stabbed inocent people. and israel is not alone in this. over 200 russians were killed in a plane crush after isis plant a bomb in this plane. over the years thousends of african people got slaughtered due to terror attack and no one cared. 132 franch people are killed and everybody loses their minds. talking about double standerds... foamy, u say u did not create the monster? half true, the monster was there before u, but you sure helped him become way stronger that is was. it's the usa that helped the islami rebals to bring down the king of iran and start the islami revoulution. this helped fund shea terror all over the world in the last 3 and half decade. now the use given iran the green light to create nuclear bomb, let's see how this one ends. the mujahedin, which later created al quida was helped greatly by the usa in order to fight russia. it was the usa who took down sadam hussein, this helped iran to get so much stronger, and helped the rise of isis. same about kadafi in libya. libya was silent when he ruled there now there are isis and 1000 tribes killing each other and sending terrorist and weapon to europe. egypt was silent until the usa and europe turned their backs on mubarak and helped the muslim brother gain power. now u have isis taking down planes over sinai. syria, the west was obssesed about taking down asad. few years later 250000 people were slaughtered, including with chimical weapons. u got isis controlling third of the country, hizzballa is stronger then ever due to tons of weapons they got from asad and training they gained in the years of war. u got russian sending soldiers over there and creating a forward base in the middle east, as well as iran doing the same. the bush regime forced the palestinien to have democracy and they chose hamas which since then took over gaza strip killing tens of palestinien in the way and launching over 10000 of missle on israel. every time the usa or europe involved in middle eastern issues they only make things worst. so, yes is was there but it was much better before u all. it's sad to say this but as an israeli i hope for another 9/11 so the world wake up. the usa need a big slap on the face to understand the war she is already in. He was ousted by the Ayatolla Khomeini during the Islamic Revolution because it was alleged that the British, who owned the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company, was controlling the Shah and ripping off Iran, and the Ayatolla wanted the Oil company nationalized. He managed to gain enough backing of the imams and other parts of the religious community to depose Shah Pahlavi, in 1979 (?) and then kicked out the british. At that point Iran became an Islamist state. The Christians were allowed to stay but could no longer hold a part in the government. This pissed-off the USA and UK because they no longer had access to a huge oil reserve and the Ayatolla didn't play well with infidels. What's funny is that under the Shah the Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany were given refuge and allowed to make homes there. They still have a large commuity there but are largely ignored as long as they remain quiet. We did foster the war between Iraq and Iran to more or less protect Israel from Iran. We had already supplanted Saddam Hussein in Iraq and gave him weapons to fight Iran. However we needed Iran to be able to fight back so we secretly laundered the money from the drugs, brought out of Cambodia and Laos, through the BCCI bank (remember the Iran-Contra scandal where Colonel Oliver North was directed to fall on his sword -take the blame- and in return got lots of money and a quiet retirement) and the money went to the Contras in South America and turned into weapons for Iran. That's why we knew Saddam had chemical and nuclear weapons; because we had given them to him. The BCCI bank was started with money from Clinton, Bush Sr, Carter, and the banking community of the Federal Reserve. We are still in Afghanistan because the countries around the Caspian Sea are oil rich and we want to capitalize on this and Afghanistan is the easiest route to the gulf but we can't build the pipeline until the country has adopted a form of government we can control. BTW I think the Paris attack and the 911 attack had more in common than a few terrorists. Another day perhaps. Can I piss off more folks today?
