Although this one seems to refer to live webcam performances, possibly including bdsm, it seems like a basic contract with porn performers. In it there are no prohibitions against outside activities of performers. None! You realize that even if produced outside the US, all of these pornos have a major audience in the US. Thus, the contracts have to comply with US law if they want to show it or sell it here. And under US law, it is against public policy to prevent personal conduct by independent contractors outside of their porn performances. It violates the right to privacy under the US Constitution. They aren't even employees of the porn producers, they are independent contractors, more accurately they are clients of their porn agents (Julia in this case). And she can't prohibit it either. Now, having said all this, I don't think they will keep getting porn work if they damage their bodies for instance with bdsm or deface themselves in some way. BTW, why would it not violate their contracts if they break legs or suffer serious injury while skiing a dangerous ski slope? And one other thing, non-compete clauses in contracts, which are not in all contracts, refer to employees leaving their jobs with a certain expertise in a certain industry and then working for a competitor within a certain period of time after their employment ends. Porn performers are not employees but are independent contractors. They can't control their outside work. Even non-compete clauses are not always upheld by US courts. Some can be ridiculously overbroad and thus illegal. A clause about no intercourse would be viewed that way. And many performers actually work for several porn companies at the same time. Why can't they be excluded from performing for other companies? Anyone here is welcome if do their own legal research if they want. I will look over anything someone finds regarding these contracts.
