Actually, it's "Rio Linda," but I understand your concerns. I think it goes way beyond physical sex. I'm with Van. I would like to know WTF is going on with this couple. Shadow was not at all helpful (or trustworthy), and I think their relationship is interesting but cloaked in a mystery that simply needs some language translation. The vocal tones of her rants still leave me no clues.
