If you or your partner has an individual wank does not really damage the partnership. People are not necessarily horny in synch and in a recent survey many women are thinking about celebrities and many men are thinking about female work colleagues while having sex with their partners. Even with a partner or spouse, masturbation can be good for the relationship. Your partner should understand your needs and accommodate them if possible even if it means a mix of them giving you pleasure, giving yourself pleasure and even from external sources such as porn. Far too many hang-ups and often a lack of empathy and trust exists between some couples, not to mention a lack of mutual respect. Some turn a blind eye to their partner's activities, while some condone their mild indiscretions. A little more appreciation of the needs of the partner, by both parties, would go a long way to keeping them together. It's possible that Paul is happy to stay with Leora and give her the space that she needs to enjoy herself, when he's not there, as what she's doing is far more acceptable to him than taking a lover.
