Anyone with dual citizenship caught fighting for a terrorist group MAY have their Australian citizenship revoked. AND, to show them we really mean business, they MAY even lose their welfare payments. Sorry to hear that your VA administration is as bad as ours. Lack of funds is bad enough, but I can't understand the how the idiots that are supposed to process claims can sleep at night the way some Vets are treated. I am still arguing a claim with DVA over an injury related to my neck, which has caused severe nerve damage. I didn't have it when I went in and Army certainly treated me since I received the injury. I started as Infantry, but had to change corps to follow a more specialist role. DVA are now telling me that the type of injury I have is not something that occurs in my corp, "You don't get that type of injury carrying out your current duties". WTF? They actually have a list of injuries which are allocated to specific corps. When I disputed their logic, they finally processed my claim. Their process wasn't to accept my previous Infantry service, during which time the injury occurred. They decided to align my injury to the closest neck injury allocated to my current corp. As my symptoms don't match the injury, the claim was rejected. I now have to counter claim. DVA have given me a case officer to assist me, they say they want to help as much as possible. The case officer is a qualified social worker with no military experience. Had she not been quite attractive, I would have pissed her off on the first day.

What's really impressive is how you managed to call people assholes instead of refuting their arguments, very similar to that of a child. What's even more impressive is how you quoted your own statement, then referred to yourself as one of the three assholes. Damn, you're right, your post was not quoted in the chain. One thing Army has taught me, it is almost impossible to improve the level of a persons common sense or their intellectual level if you don't have a reasonable baseline to start from. Trouble is, scientists believe that stupidity may be hereditary and chances are you might still be capable of infecting the gene pool, so I guess some of us feel a moral obligation to keep trying.

Yep, hear what you are saying. Typical legal wrangle, with experts contradicting each other. However, what hasn't been disputed is that Routh was in a VA hospital for treatment and was released with anti-psychotic medicine to treat his symptoms. If I had been on the jury, I would have ignored both experts, because I don't agree with drugs, alcohol or a mental condition being an adequate defence. I'm not disagreeing with the verdict. With his treatment in a VA hospital, I guess I'm also putting a fair bit of faith in his mother, who obviously identified he had some issues and wasn't getting adequate support. It appears she went to Kyle because she wasn't receiving adequate support and knew he helped vets with PTSD. Kyle had heaps of experience with helping vets with issues. While in the car driving to the range where they were murdered, Kyle sent a text message to Littlefield; “This dude is straight-up nuts.” Littlefield's response was; “He’s right behind me. Watch my six.” That gives some indication of not only Routh's state of mind, but Kyle's commitment to supporting his mates. So what I'm saying is, based on how many other Vets have been let down, I believe that if DVA were resourced adequately to do their job, this whole sorry incident may have been avoided. Support for Vets is a cost of war and should be taken into consideration, but it isn't. You buy a computer these days, the cost of recycling it is built into the cost. Surely we can do the same for our Vets.

Mate, if you are going to make statements like calling Paul an asswipe, try getting your facts right. If you had bothered reading previous posts and looked at posted images, you would have noticed that Paul was massaging Leora's bare arse and legs, as well as sitting around with her for some considerable time yesterday, whilst she was wearing nothing but a top, in the lounge, in front of the free camera.

The way things are going in the world. That next World War is not that far off. Obama is a cluster fuck for sure but he isn't that stupid. As for Putin, He can pull shit like he is in Ukraine but he doesn't have the money or the clout to get the whole country into war. Eastern russian forces would never go along with it. They have no love for the US and the West, but they know it is wasteful and useless to go to war with out any real reason and wouldn't be fooled by Putin into going to war. In the eastern part of Russia they are not loyal to Moscow they are loyal to Russia and the people. So Putin can't get them to go long in much. They will not send troops to Ukraine. If there was ever an all out war you can make a safe bet that Putin wouldn't be in charge for long. Many respected leaders are in the East and they would push for a real "Iron Man" to rule Russia, not Mr. Putie no shirt. Unless you have additional information, how can you be certain he is wearing an air force insignia? The artillery insignia is almost identical so without a clearer image we can't be certain of anything. Engineers in the Russian Army have a very distinctive insignia, again almost identical to the air force and artillery, but with two broad axes with long narrow handles instead of propellers or canons, so definitely not what we have seen in the images. I would be very surprised if the Russian military are different to any other military. Army wear army, navy wear navy and air force wear air force. I'm in the army and have been posted to a number of dual or tri-service bases, as well as an army contingent at an air force base. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing navy or air force insignia, even if I was allowed to. If you have additional or different facts or information, I'd been keen to read it. It's Air Force and he's an Eng. He is still a conscript you can tell by the style of the uniform. The patch which is Air Force tells that he is in the AF. (the propeller, if he was arty it's be two cannons.) The back ground to his patch is black noting he is in the engineering field (black on patches is used to identify Eng, red for infantry and orange for arty and so on...) The only other black used in Russian military uniforms is the navy. and no he isn't with the navy the insignia would have anchors on it and no he can't be in the navy they are not near a naval base. conscripts stay near their home towns unless they have specific training or skills then they would be sent to other area's so all you have to do is look up the city they are in and see the 2 base that are close by. The main base is not a big one or many unit's and the one that does the training is smaller. that narrows it down a bit for ya, enjoy the lurking. :P We already knew about the propellers and cannons, the issue was no one has a clear image of the insignia.
