  1. That's working on the assumption that politicians are wearing blinkers and can't see the bigger picture, when the reality is it's the public that's wearing the blinkers, can't see the bigger picture and even if they could, too dumb to understand it. There's also a better than even chance that some of these dumb politicians aren't that dumb and know exactly what they are doing and where they are taking us.
  2. That might be what she thinks she wants, but I know what she needs.
  3. We have it here in Australia, but not so polite as nonpotable, we call it what it is, treated sewage.
  4. Unfortunately Linked you might be right. Interesting that these posts have ended up in this thread that is called Only in Florida, because it's not only Florida, not only America, but most of the free world as we know it, what's left of it. All the fighting has or is happening off shore but who is defending the homeland? America isn't, neither is the UK, Australia or any of the other major contributors to the Coalition of the Willing, and yet home is where the major threat is going to come from. All these countries are sinking, socially and financially, with the sheer volume of illegal immigrants. There is a clandestine fifth column operating within all our shores and our own naivety and political correctness, as well as the ignorant or possibly intentional actions of our elected leaders, is feeding it and swelling its ranks. We fight muslim terrorists on the frontline in other countries but let them through the back door of our own. As we have discussed before, how easy would it be to defend our own shores if there was a political will to do it. The system developed by South Korea, which undoubtedly had American input, is a classic example. Its a defensive weapon not an offensive weapon. In other words, if you don't approach my borders, if you don't try to enter my country illegally, it cannot hurt you. The do-gooders, political correctness brigade, the weak and corrupt politicians, will tell you its inhumane, against the Geneva Convention, against the rules of engagement, and any number of feeble excuses. Yet no one will be killed or injured if they don't break the law. Yet I don't see these same do-gooders, same political correctness brigade, or those weak and corrupt politicians being as vocal about the 10,000 or so coalition troops killed in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. And that doesn't even scratch the surface of the wounded, both physically and mentally. Our military die offshore protecting and supporting the very countries that are the breeding grounds for the terrorists destroying our nations from within. If we are to go back to these countries then we have to do the job properly this time, no half hearted approach. Even the bible says that the destruction of your enemy must be total, every man woman and child if necessary. If that's the Christian approach, then at least we will be fighting a religious war on a level playing field, same rules of engagement. I took note of a statement by Ronald Reagan, I'm pretty sure it was at Arlington Cemetery, headstones marked with Crosses and Stars of David, very specific. Whether a believer or not, this is a religious war, we need to combine our forces to fight this enemy and Israel is a critical link in the frontline.
  5. Unfortunately wrong side of the country for me to get anywhere near it. Checked with the guy that took the photos and he sent me this link which was provided for him so he knew what he was photographing.

Agree, the cleaning ladies look stunning, nothing like the ones I get at work. Johnny survived that era even though there were a few more dodgy songs, which were all hits for some reason. But now Johnny is John and I own a few of his CDs. It wouldn't be fair to the man to leave you with that previous image, so this is one of his classic tunes, a protest song of sorts.

One of the last things I did when I left the UK to come to Australia in my very early teens, was to take my soon not to be girlfriend to a Rolling Stones concert. Their latest release was the following clip, may have been the actual show I went to, Jumping Jack Flash, which went straight to number one. I was told I would suffer culture shock when I first arrived in Australia. Shit yeah. This next clip was the Aussie equivalent that went to number one by Johnny Farnham.

Cold Chisel isn't the only band in Aus but couldn't resist this one - Khe Sahn.
  9. More culture. This one is for tbg, thought I'd post them rather than waste them. I get some weird stuff sent to me at work, these photos came from a work colleague by mistake. He's a photographer and was asked to take these shots for a mate because he knew he would be in that town over the weekend of the opening. The organ was first built in 1877 and recently restored. This is the link to the story if you are interested. http://www.weekendnotes.com/barossa-1877-hill-son-grand-organ/ For the rest of you, bet you wished you could appreciate something this beautiful.
  10. You've got it back on topic. If they stand in front of that thing, they will be fucked up.
  11. Was that your today and my tomorrow or my today and your yesterday?
  12. We will as we should, but not for the right reasons. Abbott will honour it because Obama told him to.
  13. So did I get this right, you were dreaming about Roman jerking off in the living room and Sofia walked in and he fucked her. I can recommend a good therapist.
  14. Ok, back to Ronald Reagan. The reason I used the speech I posted before was in response to the following clip. The claim was that this next clip was a cheap piece of propaganda written by professional speech writers. I used both clips to highlight how he has promoted the same style, same stand and same patriotism his entire life. He was a great leader and how the world could do with him now.
  15. Yep, her ipad.
  16. I know the question of Obama's heritage keeps coming up so I thought I'd share this. Bess Price is a politician in the Northern Territory and I worked with her husband Dave many, many years ago. Bess is highlighting the recognition of both cultures. During the whole presentation she talks about her daughter being just as proud of her white heritage as her black heritage.
  17. Today marks the anniversary of Hitler's European tour, now known as WW2, which started in Poland in 1939. If only Churchill had been around earlier, although he did warn against appeasement and no one listened. It's also the 10th anniversary of the Beslan school crisis, when armed terrorists took hundreds of school children and adults hostage in the Russian town of Beslan.
  18. --they just don't walk around nude, thank God. Are you sure?
  19. Linked, that was an awesome clip and I will use it myself. Not trying to trump your post, just happen to have used the speech of RR recently on another site, so will share it here with you.
  20. Where I come from, survivalists live OFF GRID. Iceland can do that as far as regards energy: geothermal can be quite effective, eliminating the need for constant oil shipments. On the other hand, living like a global shut-in leads to inbreeding and blind six-fingered guitar players. Still, I must admit, some of those Iceland girls really knock me out. Then Tasmania it is. They get awesome winds to generate power and the locals are already in bred, you can always pick them, they have two heads.
  21. Appreciate your sentiments jt, but I use adjectives like idiots, fools and liars when I'm talking to mates over a beer arguing about the footy scores. Muslims on the other hand are committing terrorism, mass murders, genocide, ethnic cleansing, destroying the culture of almost the entire civilised world. I don't think idiots, fools and liars is quite strong enough.
  22. I think we are probably heading towards being monitored by them, I think you know who I mean. We have to be very careful not to combine triggers together, like mentioning the muslim brotherhood, hamas and Mohamed Elibiary in the same sentence. Fuck, I just did it. Oh well, we are probably all on a watch list by now anyway. Jokes aside, this really is quite scary. I've just been doing a little bit of background on Mohamed Elibiary and can't figure out why he isn't locked in a detention centre, never to see the light of day again. Based on everything I've seen and read in the last week, I don't think we really have a hope in hell of surviving this. My new favourite show, Doomsday Preppers, I'm learning how NOT to prepare for Armageddon. Some good ideas but many of them are total nutters. Tasmania is starting to look promising. Iceland however, might not be such a bad option, since global warming, the climate is more conducive to humans and the permafrost has now thawed enough in some places to grow crops. Tassie devils are used to the cold anyway. Good to have an option in both hemispheres.

About time we started introducing some Aussie classics, none of that new shit, mostly 70s / 80s or there abouts. Top band, Cold Chisel. Live shows were awesome. Lead singer, Jimmy Barnes, normally downed a bottle of vodka on stage each show.
  24. I thought more of you appreciated art, guess I was wrong. However, I must admit I do agree, it is gross.
  25. As a result of recent changes, America has updated the world map to reflect current trends.
