  1. Now this is weird, never seen an Asian tourist with such a small camera.
  2. Haven't watched recently, but Maya always used to, presume she still does.
  3. I thought it had just been modernised in line with current trends.
  4. Meet Bretagne, apparently the last surviving search and rescue dog that worked on the WTC site after the buildings collapsed.
  5. Our intelligence agency has raised the country's security threat level to high. Although a threat act is not imminent, it is likely to occur. Our illustrious Prime Minister has announced to the world that our security and intelligence agencies are up to the task because we are smarter than the terrorists. If that's not a challenge, I don't know what is.
  6. Fuck, that is bad stuff. Comms between the command centre and emergency personnel in the building, relaying orders, information, frantically trying to locate crews, then nothing. First tower collapses. Never forget.........343 firemen and 72 police officers perished. Nobody deserved to die that day, but can't help but feel especially sad and angry about fellow uniformed members, whether law enforcement, emergency services or military, who put themselves in harms way and receive little or no respect from so many members of the public, or government for that matter. I am still an active member of the Reserve and here today in Australia, due to the heightened security threats, I am being discouraged to wear my uniform in public because we are being targeted by protesters, scum that don't deserve to draw a breath.
  7. I'm currently in the middle of a documentary called '9/11 102 Minutes That Changed America' That's some pretty bad memories. I was up working on my computer that night, we are about 14 hours ahead of New York. I had the television on in the background with the sound turned down, looked up and saw images of what I thought was the WTC on fire. When I turned up the volume, it was all explained. I remember I woke my wife up to show her because I just couldn't believe it had happened. Then to our horror, while we were watching the live broadcast, the second tower was hit. This documentary is pretty emotional because it is constructed, minute by minute, from footage taken on the street and in houses, mostly by members of the public, but then some reporters as they've arrived. I've got a new computer, television and lounge suite since then, but I'm sitting in the same spot, in the same house, reliving the moment all over again. Even my wife is in bed as she was that night, haven't woken her up this time. Difference this time, much, much, much more anger than shock in my thoughts. God Bless America (even if Obama doesn't think you are a Christian country anymore).
  8. Did you know that ASC (Australian Submarine Corporation) Pty Ltd, was founded on June 29 1987. It is a wholly government-owned Australian naval shipbuilding company headquartered at Osborne in Adelaide, South Australia, specialising in design and construction of submarines, as well as the nearly completed air warfare destroyers (AWD). Yet for one of the biggest defence equipment decisions in decades, the Abbott Government will select the Japanese-built Soryu Class submarine to replace locally built Collins Class boats as the navy’s key strike weapon beyond 2030. A decision to spend more than $20 billion on up to 10 of the Japanese vessels will be announced before the end of the year. Great government decision considering that the ship building industry is already struggling, with thousands about to be unemployed when Holden, Ford and Toyota shut down production of the automobile industry. Thousands more will lose their jobs when manufacturing companies, allied to the motor industry, also shut their doors. Well done Tony Abbott, another awesome decision.
  9. Certainly would be a good 'trick' if you can pull this off. My bet is you'll be told to fuck off like the rest of the scroungers, not liked round here much.
  10. Terrorist threat levels The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." The English have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to a "Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was in 1588 when threatened by the Spanish Armada. The Scots raised their threat level from "Pissed Off" to "Let's get the Bastards." They don't have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years. The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide". The only two higher levels in France are "Collaborate" and "Surrender." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France 's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability. It's not only the French who are on a heightened level of alert: Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides." The Germans also increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbour" and "Lose". Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual, and the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels ... The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy. Americans meanwhile and as usual are carrying out pre-emptive strikes on all of their allies 'just in case'. Canada doesn't have any alert levels. And in the southern hemisphere ... New Zealand has also raised its security levels - from "baaa" to "BAAAA". Due to continuing defense cutbacks (the airforce being a squadron of spotty teenagers flying paper aeroplanes and the navy some toy boats in the Prime Minister's bath), New Zealand only has one more level of escalation, which is "I hope Australia will come and rescue us". Australia , meanwhile, has raised its security level from "No worries" to "She'll be al'right, mate". Three more escalation levels remain: "Crikey!', "I think we'll need to cancel the barbie this weekend" and "The barbie is cancelled". So far no situation has ever warranted use of the final escalation level. (Sorry, someone had to post it).
  11. Wasn't me this time.
  12. The 'like' you got, that was me. Logged in as a visitor. (Should have given myself one while I was at it).
  13. Or was he loved to death?
  14. I think it's visitors.
  15. Did you know…………… that on the 27 November 1967, Charles de Gaulle said no to Britain joining the European Economic Community (EEC) for the second time. The French President said he would veto Britain's application to join the Common Market and he warned France's five partners in the EEC that if they tried to impose British membership on France it would result in the break-up of the community. All the other five members; Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy and Germany had said they would support negotiations towards British membership. Only France opposed it. General de Gaulle accused Britain of a deep-seated hostility towards the European Community and said London also showed a lack of interest in the Community and would require a radical transformation before joining the EEC. He also said the EEC was incompatible with their economy and went on to list a number of aspects of Britain's financial structure and model, from working practices to agriculture, which he said made Britain incompatible with Europe. General de Gaulle was so adamant about the UK not joining the EEC; he was prepared to risk its destruction. The cause of his aggression was never clear.
  16. ..........and a serious threat.
  17. I nearly posted this in your new weird shit thread. The only shit was when I shit myself after watching it.
  18. Wasn't sure where to put this but I love it!
  19. Did you know......(if you are American I assume / hope the answer is yes) that there appears to be more to Obamacare than we Aussies were first told about. Video of Obama election campaign then Section 5210 if the Health Bill Section 5210 from the ObamaCare bill starts: H. R. 3590-496 (Page 496) SEC. 5210. ESTABLISHING A READY RESERVE CORPS. Section 203 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 204) is amended to read as follows: "SEC. 203. COMMISSIONED CORPS AND READY RESERVE CORPS. "(a) ESTABLISHMENT.- "(1) IN GENERAL.-There shall be in the Service a commissioned Regular Corps and a Ready Reserve Corps for service in time of national emergency. "(2) REQUIREMENT.-All commissioned officers shall be citizens of the United States and shall be appointed without regard to the civil-service laws and compensated without regard to the Classification Act of 1923, as amended. "(3) APPOINTMENT.-Commissioned officers of the Ready Reserve Corps shall be appointed by the President and commissioned officers of the Regular Corps shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate. "(4) ACTIVE DUTY.-Commissioned officers of the Ready Reserve Corps shall at all times be subject to call to active duty by the Surgeon General, including active duty for the purpose of training. "© PURPOSE AND USE OF READY RESEARCH.- "(1) PURPOSE.-The purpose of the Ready Reserve Corps is to fulfill the need to have additional Commissioned Corps personnel available on short notice (similar to the uniformed service's reserve program) to assist regular Commissioned Corps personnel to meet both routine public health and emergency response missions. "(2) USES.-The Ready Reserve Corps shall- "(A) participate in routine training to meet the general and specific needs of the Commissioned Corps; "(B) be available and ready for involuntary calls to active duty during national emergencies and public health crises, similar to the uniformed service reserve personnel; "© be available for backfilling critical positions left vacant during deployment of active duty Commissioned Corps members, as well as for deployment to respond to public health emergencies, both foreign and domestic; and "(D) be available for service assignment in isolated, hardship, and medically underserved communities (as defined in section 799B) to improve access to health services. This would appear to give Obama his own private army, hand picked by him, controlled by him. The comment attached to the extract was: Now, I ask you...currently we have the regular Army, the Marines, The Navy, the Air Force, the National Guard, state and local police, state troopers, first responders, firefighters, EMT, rescue workers of all kinds and in all locations, plus we have the Federal Emergency Management Agency, otherwise known as FEMA. So what exactly does Mr. Obama need a private "ready reserve corps" who are hand-picked by him and report directly to him for? Comments?
  20. I guess I will return to my original comments about knowing your enemy and that we are talking about two different issues, one the fight for the caliphate or State of Islam and the other is the covert control of the world. The combined population of Iraq and Syria is about 56,000,000 people. It is estimated that about 53,000,000 are muslims. That's less that the number of muslims estimated to live in Europe right now and remember, they are populating the planet 6 times faster than we are. About 12% of the Russian population is already muslim and growing by the day. Even Putin struggles to control them. Know your enemy, or rather who your friends aren't. Oil is not necessarily the trigger, in fact the dependency on oil may even be part of the ploy (there's a potential conspiracy theory in the making). The US doesn't make the top 5 in oil reserves (that we know of) yet is the third largest as far as the production of crude oil. The largest exporter of petroleum and crude oil to the US used to be Canada and I believe still is, with Saudi Arabia second and South American countries third and fourth. In fact, Brazil and Venezuela have potential reserves which exceed those in the middle eastern countries. So maybe they aren’t really as critical as we have been led to believe. Unless of course the major oil companies are still trying to generate enough revenue to recover their capital investment in the region. As I've mentioned before I have never been stopped from doing something because it would offend a Jew. I have also never been forced to do something because Christians said I had to. In fact, quite the opposite. I believe I have mentioned that my beautiful wife is a believer, but not the bible bashing go to church every Sunday type. I’ve attended more functions than I can remember with her fellow believers, family events where often one partner believed and the other didn’t, sometimes husbands like me, sometimes wives. Never been rejected, refused or put down. We are not talking the dark ages here, all religions have pretty much moved on since then, except the muslims. Christianity doesn’t pose a threat to the world or our freedoms, Islam does. And most people would live by good old Christian values anyway if they had the choice, whether Christian or not. The war against Islam has already started, it’s in your own back yard, people just need to wake up to it. The muslims in your suburbs are doing more harm to your country than the events of 9/11. It’s happening without guns or bloodshed, but the day will come when we will need guns and bloodshed to defend ourselves.
  21. Quote: "I don't think you can overstate the importance that the rise of Islamic fundamentalism will have to the rest of the world in the century ahead-especially if, as seems possible, its most fanatical elements get their hands on nuclear and chemical weapons and the means to deliver them against their enemies." --Ronald Reagan First rule of war - know your enemy. Everybody keeps saying only a small percentage of muslims are radical. So what's a small percentage, 5% or 3%, or maybe only 2%? If only 1% of muslims are radical, that's more than 20,000,000 potential terrorists. Quote: We have 50 million Muslims in Europe. There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe—without swords, without guns, without conquest—will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades. --Muammar Gaddafi The German government has already acknowledged muslims will be a majority before the middle of this century. Syria is just a side show, the real war is all around us.
  22. You found this thread, so you can obviously read and comprehend English, right. FUCK OFF!!!
  23. Islam and Judaism are religions not nationalities or countries. Israel is a country. About 75% of the population are Jews, the remaining 25% is mixed. Not all muslims, or followers of Islam, are Arabs and not all Arabs are muslims. Not all Jews are Israeli and not all Israelis are Jews. The biggest migration to Israel is currently from France. Jews are not Arabs. One is a religion the other a nationality. The muslims will not wipe each other out, the hard line albeit minority radicals will kill off some of the weak moderates then dominate and convert the rest. Maybe we need to show them the Homeland Security video, "Run - Hide - Fight". If you were in a group of 50 to 100 unarmed men being led to your death by 20, 30, 40 or 150, even if they were all armed, wouldn't you attempt to at least fight. Not all can, but many of those being herded like this are supposedly trained soldiers. Enough said. IS or ISIS is trying to establish a caliphate, which represents a sovereign state of the entire muslim faithful, ruled by a caliph under Islamic law. The war there is a localised war that has political ramifications for the whole world. The war against islam is different and has no boundaries, it is a world war. If you nuked the entire area surrounding Syria you would kill of a group of people represented by every nationality and religion on the planet. It would make a small dent in the muslim population, destroy and contaminate the greater part of the world's oil supplies and achieve nothing towards resolving the local war against IS or the world war against islam.
  24. Cannot find anything about Leora here, not to speak about her picture. If only I knew how right I was when I wrote that you were convinced of your words. I will therefore avoid responding, it would be too long and boring. Also I would do it in my language to be precise and it would probably be poorly viewed. A last word however relative to Europe. Nobody prevents the United Kingdom not to join because it must be recognized that you want the benefits of the European system, but not the disadvantages... Come back to Leora's ass :D WHAT BENEFITS? Charles de Gaulle hated the British but was their best ally even though they (we) didn't know it, because he kept the UK out of the EEC for years.
