As Alex Ferguson the ex Manchester United manager once said “ We are now entering squeaky bum time “ Within the next 48 hours the red mist will descend when Leora’s Auntie arrives for her monthly visit, and following that if mine and a few other peoples calculations are correct, she should be departing some time next week ☹️ I sincerely hope that I am wrong, and that perhaps RLC have got of their arses and managed to arrange a longer visa than thought, there is nothing I would like better than to see the likes of Felix proven right and myself wrong....The next week will enlighten us one way or another. 🙏🤞

Aussie mate, I'm not really doom and gloom, and I apologise if it comes over that way. Like most folk I have an opinion, and I am not renowned for wrapping things up in pretty paper, I have always found in life if you say it as you see it it's then out in the open and people can kick it around a bit, and we all reach some sort of middle ground.It also follows that I have to make more than average amounts of apologies. Always difficult when referring to someone, especially someone like " The Little One ", who I have always admired and still do I hasten to add. I was going to say I have always had a soft spot for her ( Not sure if the Americans under stand this saying ) but I would be lying, only because no man who has a pulse could not help but have a HARD spot for her. I just at the moment get the impression she is cruising, as I and most of us know what she is capable off....She set the bar, and I just think by her own standards she has lost some of the drive and passion she had.....Still very nice to watch, but nowadays not enough to loose sleep over. IMHO ! I liken the situation as similar to going and buying a new Ferrari 488 spider ,driving it down the road and discovering it has a maximum speed of 50 miles an hour on it, when you know it is capable of 200 MPH... I am not really pissed about it , although some folks misinterpret my remarks, or in some cases don't read them properly. I still think she is a terrific girl and a wonderful human being and still the best girl by miles that RLC have got or have ever had...My opinion. So in conclusion Aussie mate, I am fine with the situation, not exactly as I would like it , but that's life...And I also am fully aware that having an opinion other than undying love and affection at all times for " The Little One " is about as contentious as it's possible to get. I have nothing but respect and love for her, but like us all, she has her off days. Some peoples overreaction to my remarks are just as contentious as the original post's in my opinion. But all in all, it keeps the forum ticking over.

Full of good vitamins. Many years ago in London ( predominantly in the East End ) they were part of the staple diet of poor people, not necessarily jellied but stewed eels also. Jellied eels became the dish you would buy during the fifties and sixties when you had a belly full of beer, and whereas nowadays people would go for a kebab after leaving the pub, we would go to the shell fish venders like Tubby Isaac’s and get a pint of prawns and a bowl of Jellied eels.....What a great culinary delight that was 🤪😀

I don't think with the exception of a couple of people, anyone including myself has ever said Leora was not the number 1 attraction on RLC, and has been for many years now. What I have been implying is that in my opinion she has not recently been living up to her full potential and capabilities......She set the bar, and all the others had to try and attain that high level, but failed miserably. So by her own standards I believe she has been coming up short recently.....Not the huge deal some critics are making it out to be, merely an observation. By the reaction of some of the members it would seem that I had said she was useless or worse......Untrue!! For those who are not aware, I have always supported Leora in everything she has done, whilst some others were disrespecting and abusing her, and trolls were a daily occurrence...I have never subscribed to the various conspiracies regarding her seeing other men or any of the other cheap shots aimed at her periodically. Whilst some people on here are clambering to get to the pinnacle of the moral high ground concerning this rare and outstanding specimen, please read peoples opinions in the context they are written, and not in the over sensitive protective manner that has been prevalent of late. They are only opinions....not yours perhaps, but equally of value in the world I live in,
