I think it's a little ignorant (pardon the word) to say this is Russian culture. We've seen plenty of Russian couples on this site and none of them have acted in this sort of immature way like them. Zoya and Lev are not indicative of the entire Russian culture. This is just the weird dynamic of their relationship. Plenty of U.S. couples act in a similar manner.
