    Very efficient. We have some of that new houses nearby here and after a year they all need to be treated because of mold everywhere 🙈

    Interesting how much we learn about the different building styles... 👍 Is it common to have basements in England? Because I know in the US many houses do not have a basement. For me the basement and the attic were the most interesting places when I was a kid. I always went playing there 😁

    I think it looks nice. And older houses often have bigger rooms and higher ceilings. I always like the older houses better.

    Okay I get the reason thy just built the chimney straight up the fireplace. Here they routed the exhausts from all fireplaces in the house to one or two central chimneys. Like this:

    When we are talking about houses can you explain to me @Robwin why so many old houses in England have mutliple chimneys on the roof? Even the very old houses here have only one or two. This is what I mean:

    I am sure I would have noticed when you were in my bathroom. And I do not think your truck would fit into the street I live in. Very narrow street 😁

    It is all totally repetetive there. And I ask myself why such a big expensive place? The only need a fumehood to smoke, a bed and a tub 😁

    Of course. I agree to that. It is okay for me when people like it. Maybe it really is a thing not common in Germany.

    Yes that is exactly the thing. I guess we just have to accept it...

    Still really do not get the concept of it. Have no problem when friends or family use my bathroom. They are all civilized and know how to aim and clean 😂

    Why you need so much bathrooms? Our whole house has three of them and in the garage I have a garden hose if I want to clean up 🤣 And I never missed anything...

    When they leave it there for longer they can keep it for next Christmas 🤣

    Never had any problems with privacy when going to my bathroom. That ensuite thing is totally no common here at all. We do not care here when we have to use the hallway to get to the bathroom... 😁
