I you ever go to Germany and visit a traditional village festival be sure not to be one of the last in the late night to be there. We have the very infamous tradition called "Fass aussaufen". Which basically means all people still there now will drink the rest of the alcohol which is left for that day. That usually is a lot and way to much. Believe me its not nice to watch and even worse to participate. You dont want to do that. Take it as a warning

To understand it a lil better you should know that these small marksmen festivals in bavaria organized by local rifle clubs often place at a small farm are not about shooting rifles at all. Youn people go there to get drunk as fuck (often beer is very cheap or even free) and have sex with the girls going there too. It can really be a total orgy and debauchery. I remember a view years ago it was all over the newspapers here they had to take about 30 people to hospital after such a festival
