  5. They have been warning of this for over a year. Anyone that didn't up their systems to HTML5 is simply out of luck. I'll bet all of the governments sites that take care of unemployment, food stamps and Social Security will go dark. The shit this is going to bring!

  8. My second music teacher. This is when I graduated from the piano to the pipe organ. I learned on this organ.
  9. Someone here knows good music. The mind and the soul need music like this to relax it. Not that loud head banging crap that makes you angry inside. It does and you don't even know it.
  10. A true culinary artist always deviates from a written recipe. They 'customize' it to fit their own needs, which generally yields a much better product that the original. Mrs. Naga likely makes it according to old family tradition. These are tried and true and contain a pinch of this and a bit of that and a whole lotta love. It's the love that makes it so special.

  12. Looks like I'll never get to have a good Yorkshire pudding again. Mrs. Naga is keeping her recipe tightly tucked away.
  13. A fair sized group will be arriving later. Of course, I'm the designated chief cook and bottle washer. I don't do the chit-chat and small talk stuff well. I'd rather be in the kitchen. I have a 10lb Prime Rib roast on the rotisserie with a pan under it to catch the drippings for the gravy. Au Jus for those that like it. Personal sized baked potatoes with fresh chives, bacon bits, sour cream and anything else people put on them. Grilled baby asparagus with finely chopped garlic, onions and olive oil. Fresh made rolls and biscuits with lots of butter and jam on the side. I wish I knew how to make a Yorkshire pudding like my mom used to make. It was soooo good. Hmmmm! Maybe Naga has a good recipe in his repertoire? Dessert is a long line of things that will be brought I'm sure. Lots of adult beverages will be flowing and a few bottles of champagne and sparkling wine are lining the bar I set up. Happy Non-Denominational Holiday Celebration, to this group, as no one can decide on what to call it without an argument. For the rest of us... Merry Christmas. It's the first that I can remember for a long time where the temperature was below 40F. Brrr!

  17. Hate to tell you this, Ridge, but Dr. Jill Biden DOES hold a Doctorate degree. You don't have to be an M.D. to hold a Doctorate. She holds hers in Education. Bashing Biden's wife is like bashing Trumps wife. Just because certain sectors of the population hate an individual, doesn't mean their wives are of the same caliber. Jill Biden is an extremely intelligent woman. It's her husband that is beginning his early stages of dementia.

  22. I made a recipe that I found on some site on the 'Net for Seafood Scampi. Shrimp, Scallops and Calamari. Tubes and tentacles. YUM!! The order called for 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper. I made it a compact 1/4 teaspoon. Whew! That stuff goes in hot and comes out the same way!! The rest was great. The house still reeks and the wife still complains.
