Actually, the Google translator is the issue... the fine folks at Google can't get it to properly assign gender. The non-english speaking members of CC must be wondering if all us english speakers can't tell the difference between pronouns, too. ;D You're right. In this case it's Google. But, I've found that pretty much every translator I've used over the years has trouble with making the distinction. It seems that some languages have interchangeable pronouns which make it even harder for translators to interpret correctly. I also think that a lot of the arguments that take place on this forum may be due to misunderstandings because of that very problem. oui, il faut utiliser des mots simples, sans expressions ou métaphores.....par exemple, si en Français je veux dire, "regardez çà", je vais écrire "regardez cela", pour que la traduction comprenne!!! un mot qui reviens souvent quand on traduit l'anglais vers le Français, c'est " quebec", je ne connais toujours pas sa signification!!!
