Once the fighting stops in Ukraine nothing will happen to Putin because the world needs his oil and gas. Ukraine will become a distant memory to the world just like Putin's previous invasions of Georgia, Chechnya, and Crimea.

My original question was if we don't confront Putin about Ukraine because we fear nuclear war what is to stop Putin from invading a NATO country? Will we not then also be afraid to confront him because we fear nuclear war? All Putin needs to do to control people like you is threaten nuclear war if the West doesn't concede everything he wants.

Sounds like the Ukrainian military is conducting a very intelligent fight. Reports are that they are now hitting the Russian supply lines. Tanks don't run well without fuel, weapons are worthless without ammunition, and soldiers don't fight very well without food.

If my country was being destroyed by an invading army that was much larger and much better equipped than my military I would also be begging for help from wherever I could get it. Especially if my country had years before voluntarily given up nuclear weapons with the promise that other nations would insure my future sovereignty. What would Canadians do if Canada was invaded? Start waving white flags?

After the fighting in Ukraine ends and Ukraine is completely destroyed with thousands of Ukrainian citizens dead it will be interesting to see how Joe Biden, NATO and the EU go about claiming a victory over Putin? Most likely with more hollow words that are totally detached from reality.

If Putin accidentally or purposely attacks Poland, Estonia or Latvia NATO will do nothing because Biden, NATO and the EU are scared to death of Putin and his nuclear weapons.

Last week the U.S. Congress passed legislation to authorize almost $14 billion to Ukraine in military and humanitarian aid. As of today "Sleepy" Joe Biden has yet to sign the fucking legislation. I guess he is waiting until Russia takes over Kyiv before he signs the bill.

Is that what a cowardly Canadian leader would do? Maybe Zelinskyy is a real leader who doesn't see himself as being better than the average citizen of Ukraine. A government in exile is a joke. What the hell good is a government if you no longer have a country to govern?

If Biden and Europe had been tougher on Putin months ago the invasion could have been prevented. Also, during the many months that Putin was amassing his military on the Ukrainian border the U.S and Europe should have been flooding Ukraine with weapons including the MIG jets instead of waiting until the invasion started.

The U.S. botched the withdrawal from Afghanistan, record high inflation and gasoline prices, the North Korean "Rocket Man" testing ICBMs, Putin invading Ukraine, China threatening to annex Taiwan, our southern border wide open to illegal immigrants, more deaths and hospitalizations from Covid in 2021 than 2020, and now a missile attack on a U.S. Consulate in Iraq.
