Retired U.S. Army Col. Douglas MacGregor gave his analysis of what is happening with the Russian military in Ukraine. He believes that everything is going pretty much as the Russians had planned in their invasion. Col. MacGregor believes that the Russians will first secure the eastern, southeastern, and southern portions of Ukraine and then those forces will move on Kyiv to the west. That could maybe explain why the 40 mile long convoy from Belarus has been moving so slowly. The convoy could be waiting for the Russian forces in the east, southeast, and south to make their move on Kyiv before joining in the siege of Kyiv. Col. Macgregor also said that once Kyiv is surrounded if the Ukrainians do not surrender Putin and the Russian military is prepared to level the city with no regard to civilian casualties because that is how Russia conducts military operations. For that assessment by Col. MacGregor the Col., Fox News, Tucker Carlson, and Trey Gowdey were called traitors and Putin sympathizers by Democrats and the mainstream media. I hope Col. MacGregor is wrong, but why should he be so condemned for giving his honest assessment based upon his experience as a combat military officer.

Something needs to happen to stop what is happening in Ukraine right now. This is Wednesday and members of Congress are bragging that they will pass the Ukrainian military and humanitarian aid bill next week. They need to get off their lazy asses and pas it today. Also, the fact that the West is unwilling to do anything to militarily help Ukraine for fear of nuclear war tells me that membership in NATO means nothing because if Putin invades a NATO nation the same threat of nuclear war exists if NATO nations intervene. If Putin invades Estonia is NATO going to risk nuclear war to stop him?

The Western powers keep saying we can't use air power to attack the Russian convoy outside Kyiv because that would risk a nuclear war with Russia. But the other side of that equation is , 'Are the Russians willing to go to nuclear war over Ukraine?'

In a press briefing today Secretary of State Blinken said that the U.S. was certain that Russia was going to invade Ukraine many months ago, and not one person in our ignorant news media asked him if you knew months before the invasion that Russia was going to invade why did you not put sanctions on Russia many months ago to hopefully prevent the invasion?

Wrong! All soldiers are instructed on the Geneva Convention rules of war. They know that they are not obligated to commit acts of war that are in violation of the Geneva Convention. As far as any U.S. soldiers being prosecuted for crimes in Vietnam, have you ever heard of Lt. William Calley? He was prosecuted, convicted and sentenced to life in prison for his part in the My Lai massacre. President Richard Nixon reduced his sentence.
